Easy peasy work is easy!

I learned something new every month. It is very easy to pull reports. Regardless of whether they are maintenance or rent reports.

Very easy to use. I used to think that real page and Yardie were easy. Hands down you have them beat

I wish there were some customized letters that we could generateWith your program. It would make it easy when I'm trying to do delinquency letters

Grear Company - Needs to Listen More to Customers

Overall experience has been great. While I understand profitability and making money the company needs to talk to its customers more and get feedback. For example the ACH thing could have been better received of they would have understood how associations and budget planning works. Increasing in the middle of the year didn't allow any time for any of us to possibly raise our per door fee to unit owners. Charging them per owner is not the right answer.

Loved that it has free ACH for my associations which has helps us grow. Overall reporting is very good. Sales support ([sensitive content hidden]) is very in tune with thing and very responsive.

Cons:

The over all way the communication was on the ACH charge wasn't what I would have like to see from a large company. Needs to work on the app more to make it more friendly.

Buildium is not what I initially signed up for.

Pros:

I like being able to keep track of expenses and income. It made end of the year much easier at tax time.

Cons:

I tried to talk to someone about my subscription. NO ONE wanted to talk to me. Yes I know we are a small operation, but I requested to speak to some one about my subscription and no one had the time to talk to me or did not want to talk to me. I do not like that you have to start with a 25 unit subscription and that the price kept going up.

Pros:

Buildium has been a game-changer for our property management operations. The platform is intuitive, well-organized, and designed with real property managers in mind. From tenant and owner communication to accounting, maintenance tracking, and reporting, everything lives in one place and actually works together seamlessly. The accounting features are especially strong and save us a significant amount of time each month. Owner reports are clean, professional, and easy to generate, which has greatly improved transparency and client satisfaction.

Cons:

Like any robust software, there is a learning curve at the beginning, but Buildium offers solid training resources and support to help you get up to speed quickly.

Professional platform to get started in Property Management

Buildium is a good value for the money, and it was relatively easy to set up and get started with. We are still evaluating whether or not it can support all of our needs as we grow the business.

I have found that the customer support staff at Buildium are reachable, knowledgable and extremely helpful whenever there was a task that I needed assistance in completing.

Cons:

There are some reminders and features that would make the platform more all encompassing so that we wouldn't have to rely on outside calendars for certain items like license expiration dates, and re-occurring bill payments.

I do not recommend this company

We have been with them for about 4 years, I wouldn't recommend anyone else to go with them. Their cost increases constantly and they say its because of new features - in Canada we can't use most of the features. The software for owners is hard to understand. We are just stuck since we pay large amounts of money for service that we have trained out property managers, owners and tenants on.

Not much at this time. It keeps the clients information and there hasn't been much down time in the last 4 years. Tenants can pay through the portal.

Cons:

Terrible Customer Service, long wait times (50plus minutes),6 price increases in the last 2.5 years. You pay for a years worth of product, and they let you know about changes to it a couple months in advance. Do not get involved with them.

Buildium: There is no place like home as the grass is not greener

I was a Buildium user with P2P Property Management. The owner got big ideas the CINC would be better. Long story short he is out of business. I ran back to Buildium with the clients I salvaged from P2P

Ease of use, employee is up and running very quickly do to the availability of training support items . Customer Support - This staff is awesome and very knowledgeable. Issues are 99.9% of the time solved very quickly.

Cons:

Nothing stands out. Having been dragged off of Buildium by my old employer and learned very quickly that complexity in software does not make my life easier.

Reasons for switching to Buildium

Started my own company and came back to Buildium as CINC was way to complicated. After six months processing was still clunky as I was not confident with the process

Buildium in shelter use.

Compared to previous years it has made things much easier for a team of people to keep information passed from person to person much easier. I keep track of all my tenants in a homeless shelter & creating events from shift to shift is easy and readily available to all shifts.

I like how easy it is to navigate & when doing notes it makes it easier to add the events for a short summary. The accounting software makes things easier to keep track off. The user interface is extremely easy to learn.

Cons:

I don't like how short of an event that the amount of words allowed is often too short. The emergency shelter requires case notes that are more detailed & I usually have to create a separate document for the more detailed case notes.

Pros:

Good value to scale a business up, payment processing and financial reporting are easy to use. I also like the third party add-ons like advertising for more landlords.

Cons:

Takes a minute to figure out some of the reporting. It has so many features sometimes it was tough to figure out how to just get a basic financial report.

Buildium is easy to use and very organized. It's like me in computer programming form. I love navigating through each tab to complete my task or work orders.

Cons:

There's not too much that I do not like about Buildium. If I had to say one thing it'll be the task email reminders that come super early in the morning.
