Finally a place to organise and update our CVs in an easy manner!

As my title says, we struggled with having CVs with client and project descriptions updated across all employees. Also having consistent wording on skills was rather difficult. CV Partner solves this problem. Highly recommended.

Pros:

Easy to get up and running. We managed to roll out CV Partner to all our employees without any planning or initial training. The ability to fully customise our templates to our exact design was very impressive. Their support is unparalleled. We appreciate their ISO 27001 security certificate, as it shows their focus on securing our data.

Cons:

Their features are great and easy to use, though some UX issues ought to be resolved (not always intuitive). However, they improve continuously, so I assume/hope they will be fixed soon.

Pros:

How easy it is to add content in different languages, and tailor it to specific proposals so that they are more aligned what the client is asking for. It is also really great for mass producing CVs for larger teams on the same template, giving a really professional look and feel. I've used CV Partner for 5+ years and it has saved us a ton of time, while also helping us win bids. Highly recommended!

Cons:

It would be great if we could integrate it with our CRM tools, but this option is limited due to internal security. I can some times get a bit lost in my many variations of the same experience, but this is easily fixed by removing redundant versions.

Pros:

Automated and beautifully formatted export CVS in any format required. There is an incredible time saving for me and my team, instead of spending half an hour per CV, I'll be lucky to spend one minute per CV. I also love the cross-referencing between CVS and project sheet summary details. It creates great consistency without further effort from myself or my team to provide high quality people and project experience.

Cons:

I would like there to be better automatic notification via email when a draft project reference sheet is ready for review.

Missing important features

Integration between Credentials and CV. Possible to make several tailormade summaries

Cons:

There is still not an oportunity to anchor each credential to a particular summary. We have asked for this for years, and was promissed that this will come, but nothing has happened since then.

Flowcase – a must-have for consultancy companies

All in all, a warm relationship over several years makes the work on profiles and aiming them towards different customer cases on a daily basis very smooth and efficient

Its ease of use. Even users new to the product will be up to speed quickly.

Cons:

The flip side of the coin regarding its ease of use: having (almost) no constraints at all makes it a bit of an anarchy. You have to behave as a user, and we all know we don’t.

Overall, our experience with CV Partner has been great! The company is very quick to respond to our requests and questions. In addition, during the implementation process [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was very attentive in helping us customize our content and how we could get creative in using the fields for our needs.

I really like how quickly I can change the CV template from one proposal response to another. The functionality CV Partner provides for us to quickly add the staff I want to include in my proposal, customize the experience to match the staffing requirements from the RFP, and export out to out company specific template has saved our team a lot of time.

Cons:

Although each CV has a time stamp on when the CV was last updated, it would be nice to see who updated that CV and the changes made. As an Administrator for this software, I am often making updates to bios on a consultant's behalf and it would be nice to have a way in CV Partner to track the changes and who made the update. This would help us ensure our consultants are making yearly updates as well.

CV Partner makes us work more efficient

We experience that CV Partner helps us work more efficient and improves the cooperation between consulting and sales. Both working with larger tenders or smaller customer offers, CV Partner give us quick access to the right CVs and references.

Easy for the users, easy for the management.

The easy user interface for the daily users is the key. It makes the job easy for them, which again makes my job overseeing it easy and time efficient.
