About TripSpark Fixed Route & Paratransit

TripSpark is a cloud-based suite of fleet management applications designed for communities and businesses in the medical and education industries. The suite offers users applications for fixed route transportation, paratransit, K-12 transportation, ridesharing management and non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) for providers, brokers and health care.

TripSpark’s ‘fixed route software for public transit’ module provides users with a scheduling and routing system and helps them to mitigate vehicle bottlenecks, monitor driver actions and make business decisions based on performance and ridership reports. The suite’s ‘paratransit dispatch and scheduling’ module allows users to manage single or batch scheduling, communicate with drivers and client and keep track of the scheduled delivery in real time.

Additionally, TripSpark features claims management, a customized notification system and mobile applications that enable users to remotely manage their activities. Support to users is made available via phone and email.

    Customer service is awesome! [SENSITIVE CONTENT] have been extremely responsive to our needs and requests for service. They are always on top of the issue, see where we need to correct our settings or errors and help us resolve issues quickly, to keep us moving.

    Ease of setup customers, the integration of the notification and Web-Portal services. Riders love being able to schedule their own rides, via web. These new services has drastically cut down on riders that don't show for their rides.
    Cons:
    We would like to see more notifications on the dispatcher side of the software, when Portal rides are added, deleted, to help with efficiencies. Would like to see rides that are past the set time, change color on the screen so dispatchers can see them readily easier than searching through all vehicle screens.

    We have other software vendors that we use for different areas within the department, that have similar versions of this type of software. However, we have been using this for over a decade and have found it evolves with our needs and use it for multiple operations on the campus and medical campus to solve our needs.

    None. you are the only company I have to pester to get a quote or product and I don't have the time in my schedule to do your job. I have 5 buses down loosing revenue because I don't have farebox tickets. The Fareboxes will be without warranty in July and there is nothing I can do.
    Cons:
    Communications is poor, quotes take at least a month. When you receive a PO I have to hound to get product Have been waiting 2 months for Farebox paper tickets and a quote for warranty for the fareboxes. falling on deaf ears all the way to upper management.

    Since moving to a cloud-based paratransit scheduling software the Transit team has been able to receive timely updates and responses during system outages. The TripSpark Customer Care team is responsive and knowledgeable.
