- Splashtop is a complete application, I can fully access customer data, obtaining as much information as possible about them, in order to assist them quickly during my shift as remote worker, anywhere I'am at.
- It's CPU intensive on both the client and technician device (so far the worse we've seen, higher than GoToAssist that is/was Java based). Since their latest update 3.8.0.1 it has gotten worse.
- TeamViewer is the only remote control system I know that allows you to switch screens seamlessly, sent the control + alt + delete function if you are trying to unlock a device remotely, and allow you to disable remote input from the end user if you need to do a hard fix on something.
- Occasionally the remote session freezes or lags, especially during large file transfers or when switching displays, and sometimes the connection drops unexpectedly, requiring a full reconnect to continue working smoothly.
