About RMH Store

Retail Management Hero is a point of sale (POS) solution for small to midsize businesses and single-store operations in industries such as convenience, grocery, apparel, sporting goods, wine and spirits, gift and specialty. Both cloud-based and on-premise deployments are available. The solution offers features to manage all back office and POS activities.

Retail Management Hero includes inventory management features such as loss prevention and detection, serial number tracking, accounts receivable and purchasing control. Users can design receipts, labels and over 300 reports with a built-in tool. The solution also offers support for gift cards and loyalty programs.

Retail Management Hero includes an offline version for when the internet is unavailable. The solution can be used on tablets and touchscreens. It also offers integration with Nitrosell for hosted e-commerce.

Very User Friendly. Is more than a simple POS. Backoffice Integrated. Easy to Extend. Quick implementation.

Cons:

Not Software as a service. Some companies do not have any infrastructure to host the database and need a full administrated solution.

RMH for Your Store

Excellent, love the reports, credit card processing module saved me tons of cash versus my previpus processor, Store associates really like the simple POS interface.

Fully integrated Prdering Receiving, Sales, Physical Inventory and Reports.

Cons:

Had to chnage from Quick Books, was a little nervous about the switch. My install team made me very comfortable with the switch.

Simple for my in house employees to run. Reporting was best in class. The Cloud POS apps can't match the report customization. Inexpensive credit card processing.

End of like letter from Quickbooks. Looked at 5 different systems. RMH best fit my needs

THEY TOOK A 1980 TECHNOLOGY AND MADE IT INTO A 1990 UPGRADE

IT WAS LIKE THE OLD PROGRAM THEY STOPPED SUPPORTING. ARCHAIC. LACKING IMAGINATION AND NO FORWARD THINKING.

Cons:

LOST QUICK ACCESS TO JOURNAL SEARCHES. I WOULD IMAGINE ANY PROGRAM BUILT BY A 3RD GRADER WOULD FUNCTION BETTER THAN THIS OLD PLATFORM. NOT A PROGRAM A RETAILER WOULD JUMP UP AND DOWN ABOUT. I BOUGHT IT. THERE WAS NO SUPPORT TO GET IT RUNNING IN MY STORE. 6 MONTHS LATER I FOUND SOMEONE WHO COULD HELP ME AND HE CALLED THEM TO GET UNDERSTANDING ABOUT HOW IT WORKED. $300.00 LATER HE HAD IT RUNNING. NO SUPPORT. NO IMPROVEMENTS, LOST SOME EASY PARTS FROM OLD PROGRAM. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. FIND ANYTHING ELSE. DON'T WATE YOUR MONEY AND TIME. IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

Being a manager of a Hospital gift shop we have many volunteers ranging in age and experience. This system is easy to follow/use for our staff and employees

Cons:

This is coming from my volunteers that they feel it is more steps for the transaction. (In my opinion it is more streamlined and direct)

RMH releases many features, which is inherently a great thing, however, regular updates and maintenance may present challenges, especially for businesses without a dedicated IT team.

Replaced Microsoft RMS

Great up grade from Microsoft RMS, get the right partner. Do not do or buy this with the intention of doing it all yourself. Find a good retail technology partner and you cannot go wrong.

Nice new updated platform for RMS. Seamless transition from MS RMS to RMH. We dealt with the Irish Partner and these guys were very knowledgeable. We received an extensive demo, we received a project plan when we were moving. The new improved RMH, has many improved and new features, we were explicitly advised that it is NOT RMS so expect some changes. Inventory counts - much improved Mobility through additional add on - Very good Managing Debtors & creditors - It is done correctly in RMH Fast - easy to use and configure POS screen Great Partner for deployment and support Great roadmap for future development Multi store Multi Currency - this is especially important of you trade online for managing financials. Inexpensive compared to others e.g. Retail Pro, Cigid, LS Retail

Cons:

We miss the old RMH customer community - this however was managed by Microsoft. The Item card in back office needs more fields for data Reporting, while extensive as an accountant we could do with some year end reports, some that were available in RMS.

Huge regret to install RMH Central!

Once RMH Central was install ALL of our reports have been innaccurate, transactions are missing from Central, double upload! I am beyond frustrated that a product would be encouraged to be installed when there are so many known bugs! BIGGEST REGRET OF 2019 was installing RMH Central

RMH Central completely inaccurately reports our sales tax, tenders, and MISSING transactions. Can not PO from Central? Very frustrating for a multi-store environment
