Great Calendar

Same. which is good. It is easy to share the link with clients and on my website. I really like all the new options for small business owners.

I really like the options, although I don't use them all. I do refer several clients to Goldie as it is a great calendar, but I very much dislike the name and color.

Cons:

The Color! Yellow breaths anxiety, which is not a good color. I also hate the name, it is not as professional as it could be. Goldie sounds like a strippers name!

Intuitive, User-Friendly, and Worth Coming Back To

I originally used HeyGoldi for a year, then decided to move to another platform. However, I only lasted about eight months there before realizing how much I missed the simplicity and user-friendly design of HeyGoldi. In the end, I chose to return, mainly because of how effortless and intuitive the system is compared to others.

I’ve been using the HeyGoldi app and what I like most about it is its interface — it’s clean, intuitive, and very easy to use.

Cons:

One great additional feature that I believe is currently missing would be the ability to share a calendar with another practitioner. This would allow another practitioner to carry out treatments during time slots when I don’t have any clients booked, making even better use of available time overall.

Cons:

There is no live person to speak to when there are questions or concerns. Its all through email.

Changed my business and took the stress away

Loving Goldie! It’s honestly changed my business. The switch from Fresha was so smooth, and the Goldie team have been amazing — they reply so quickly whenever I need help. I feel so much more organised now, and it’s taken so much stress and pressure off my business. As a mum with young children, this has given me more time with them too! I love how it prompts me to take deposits and reminds me about appointments — it just makes everything easier.

Pros:

What I love most about Goldie is that you can take deposits directly through the app, and if you ever need to change appointment times, you can message customers on WhatsApp right from there.

Cons:

When you go to send out the deposit, it automatically selects text message. I’d prefer it to default to WhatsApp instead, as most of my customers use that more often. That’s just a personal preference though — I’ll ask Goldie if this can be changed.

Goldie is definitely a keeper.

So far so good! I'm really liking it more than Square so far, it seems like a better value for the money.

Pros:

Most of the set up has been intuitive and easy. I really like the website and the added features like forms, social media posts, and follow up texts. So far I think I'm really going to like it.

Cons:

I had an issue setting up my Stripe connection and customer service was limited during the holidays so that part took longer than it should have to resolve. Sometimes it's difficult to find the exact answer I'm looking for. I also had an issue setting up my business hours. I was able to figure out I could do it in the app and it would save, versus doing it on the browser where it wouldn't save. All in all these were mostly minor inconveniences.

Goldie was less expensive. Goldie is missing some components that grooming specific software like Moego includes, but I didn't think it was important enough to pay almost twice as much.

Square recently had a price increase and was missing some features in my pricing plan.

So far with Goldie

Overall I am happy with Goldie app and also really love having the desktop version. It has helped me a lot I just wish it would stop me from booking during non working hours.

It’s an all in one software that handles scheduling, taking payments, messaging, expenses tracking and more at an affordable price.

Cons:

It allows me to schedule clients during my non working hours. This keeps messing me up and causing me to have to reach back out to my clients to reschedule their appointments. This is not a good look for a business. And I believe the Goldie app should stop me from doing this. There is no point in having non working hours if the app allows me to schedule during those times.

Amazing experience, fast effortless and so easy to use and customise! It’s great it comes with a mini website all built for you, I was up and running in a day and my clients love it

It’s quick and was an effortless transition my old software, it’s multiple payment options are great for offering clients more options, I was able to easily edit all automated client messages and this will no doubt help me massively in my business
