Designed specifically for deployment by cemeteries and crematoria, we've also been adopted by funeral homes. It's been good. There have been some hiccups, but I do feel Plotbox has our back and is there to assist when needed.

Pros:

I thoroughly enjoy the different modules in Plotbox and how everything links together. I believe things linking together is so important for tracking purposes and making sure all departments are on the same page, whether it's sales, admin, memorial ordering, grounds, and management. I believe this is Plotbox's best feature.

Cons:

I believe there are things missing as far as Plotbox filters in certain modules that limit its capabilities to run the reports we need. For instance, we only order memorials once a headstone is paid in full, but we are unable to add a filter indicating when a headstone was paid in full. This would help us effectively prioritize headstones.

Pros:

It's just brilliant! I love being able to see just how many graves we actually do have, and more importantly, what we have left!

Cons:

The mapping and ground proofing was the hardest part, and I underestimated the time needed, to dedicate to that task. It was all fine in the end though.

Reasons for choosing Plotbox

The features of the drone maps, the accounting links with our software, the ease of use, the slick design, the record search for our customers (Everafter)

Reasons for switching to Plotbox

Epilog was very old and sometimes didn't work. No more than one person could use it at any one time.

Plotbox has been a game changer!

It’s been great. In the past we were using paper maps to keep track of things and plotbox has completely transformed the way we present the cemetery to families. I think it gives us a ton more credibility

The GPS function on the mobile app, viability of available plots, categorized search, records search function

Cons:

My only complaint at the moment is with the mobile app it won’t let you stay signed in and you have to input login info every time

Cons:

Pros:

First: the patron experience and ability to find a loved one through EA and be able to see the headstone, pictures, and obit. Second: the organization of the cemetery combined with the drone mapping enabled the additional of many new plots thought to previously not be useable. Third: Uploading contracts and deeds to the owner for quick access remotely.

Cons:

Some data fields are strictly locked to only accept a drop down menu field as opposed to a manual entry; such as entering a date.

Pros:

Plotbox very easy to use for users with even basic computer skills, it is flexible and adaptable for a manager with a little technical knowledge. Uptime is excellent, and customer support involves talking to humans in the UK about a product they know inside out. I handles imported historical data just as effectively as new data created since implementation.

Cons:

The very few issues we have found have been minor irritations and have been quickly resolved by technical support, so I cannot think of anything I don't like about it.

Pros:

Easy to use and understand, ability to send pictures via e-mail to customers is an extra bonus, it saves going out to a cemetery to take the pictures every time there is a query

Cons:

Nothing, everything is exactly what you want on a system
