About Spybot

Spybot is an on-premise endpoint security solution designed to help businesses detect unauthorized access to data and remove various spyware and malware attacks. Features include script editor, automated signature updates, system registry repair, identity monitoring and task scheduling.

It includes an immunization functionality, which lets users block access to unauthenticated sites, browser plugins and more. Using the live protection feature, IT professionals can block malicious users by scanning newly created and active processes in real-time. Team members can also view and analyze multiple files using FileAlyzer. Additionally, the solution helps engineers inspect the behavior of loaded applications and scan file systems and registry through rootkit scanning.

Spybot provides an anti-telemetry tool, Anti-Beacon, which allows administrators to limit tracking issues in Windows. It is available on yearly subscriptions and support is provided via online measures and discussion forums.

Stay Safe!

I have been using Spybot for years, many times I get rid of Malware that made my machine malfunction and it helped me to be protected. It is software made with the premise of solving malware problems as a priority, then the graphical aspect and the user experience accompanied. In that order of priorities, it can be seen that they worked hard so that the primary objective of protection is first achieved. Over time it evolved, improving and adding new functionalities. I have been a user for more than 6 years and I keep choosing it

Pros:

Its free version is very complete, and its paid version gives total protection without the need to access other protection suites. Its malware search engine is powerful and its database is constantly updated

Cons:

Many times the sensitivity of your search engine causes tracking cookies to be detected, those that remember personal data such as log in or auto-complete, so you have to see the results one by one and deactivate the "repair" (deletion) of those items. , since otherwise the browser will lose all dynamism.

Reasons for choosing Spybot

I chose Spy bot over Ccleaner because it is a bit more complete, although both applications can coexist (using Ccleaner actively only when needed and not running in the background). Avast I use it for virus protection only.

1. Sound depth of scanning - right from viruses to malware to cookies to registry entries 2. Does not impede overall PC functioning

Cons:

The deep scan, while effective, often takes too long. Recommend using the paid version. The free version will provide this feature; however one has to manually initiate such scans from time to time

(1) Usage testing over a 3 year period (2) Added benefit of malware removal with antivirus removal (3) zero incidents of malware and AV related challenges post installation since past 5 years!

Un buena forma e mantenerse a salvo

ES muy buena me ha salvado de muchos aprietos sobre programas espias y malware. Permite complementarse con oyros antivirus a diferencias de otros productos.

This is a good product. You have to run this as the administrator to access all the files.

Cons:

I don’t think it is explained that you must think. As an administrator to access all the files in your computer.

I have used SpyBot for over 10 years. Numerous times I have scanned and removed possible malware issues from my laptop.

Cons:

It's difficult to say anything that I like least about SpyBot. If I had to mention something, it would be the length of time it takes for a security scan.

Pros:

Lo que más me gusta es, que se puede utilizar a la par con la aplicación antivirus que tengamos instalado, sin presentar ningún tipo de inconveniente.

Cons:

La realidad es, que con la versión sin costo hace un buen trabajo, a mi me ha funcionado bastante.
