    Pros:
Hexnode UEM: simplicity, efficiency, and security in one platform — a truly intuitive, powerful, and reliable solution that makes device management effortless and secure.
    Cons:
The platform works great overall, but the language support for Brazil could be improved. A fully localized Portuguese (Brazil) interface and documentation would make the experience much better.

    The Greatest UEM/MDM

Hexnode is great. They are a powerful MDM that makes deployment simple. Their policies are very customizable for any type of OS. This has allowed our team to maximize the potential of Hexnode.

    Pros:
Hexnode has the greatest support experience I have ever seen in a product. They are always responsive, and they will always help if I need any assistance for a project that requires the use of Hexnode. I have spent over 2 hours on a call with them before and not once did I sense any frustration from them. I used to reach out a lot to them when I was new, and they told me they were happy I kept using their support service. They always send detailed emails after a call for a recap, or next steps if a follow up is needed. Hexnode has done a fantastic job in building their support.
    Cons:
To be be honest, I cannot think of anything with Hexnode that upset me. The only issue I had was there was a period where my portal became very slow. I had to reach out to support and they would immediately refresh my account to get it started backup again. They would not leave until my slowness was resolved.

Reasons for switching to Hexnode UEM

I got here after Hexnode was purchased by DataVisor. But I have heard they are much more content with Hexnode than Jamf.

Critical Offboarding Flaws and Support Gaps in Hexnode MDM

    1

Our overall experience with Hexnode has been disappointing. While the platform offers a user-friendly interface and flexible policy configurations, these benefits were ultimately outweighed by serious technical limitations and poor support. The most critical issue was our inability to unenroll devices — even with help from Hexnode support, the problem remained unresolved. This left us with several devices permanently locked to the MDM, with no way to repurpose or wipe them clean. The lack of a reliable offboarding process has resulted in significant operational and financial setbacks. In hindsight, we would not have chosen Hexnode. We strongly recommend that anyone considering this solution carefully evaluate its limitations, especially around device unenrollment and long-term support.

    Pros:
exnode looked promising at the outset — the interface is clean, and setup was relatively quick. We also appreciated the flexibility in configuring device policies and the cross-platform support.
    Cons:
We chose Hexnode for mobile device management expecting a reliable and flexible solution — unfortunately, the experience has been quite the opposite. The biggest issue: we were unable to unenroll several devices, and even after escalating to their IT support, no one could provide a working solution. We're now left with devices that are permanently stuck with the MDM installed, with no way to remove it — even a factory reset didn't help in some cases. The support team was slow to respond and ultimately couldn't resolve the issue, leaving us with unusable hardware and no clear path forward. This has caused significant disruption and cost to our operations. If you're considering Hexnode, be extremely cautious — particularly if you ever plan to offboard devices or change MDM providers. Based on our experience, we would not recommend it.

    Cons:
The quality of their macOS deployments are good, but coming from JamF, it can be better. I would much rather have a single pane of glass for the entire org rather than multiple tools for multiple platforms.

Support response, features and pricing were all better in Hexnode.

Their support is always prompt and provide solutions in a timely manner. hexnode is easy to integrate with any IDP and provides the most multi-OS management than any MDM I worked with in the past.
    Cons:
Documenation can sometimes be outdated with some of the frequent MAC updates. Additionally when a policy or action is pending and attempts to re-try there isnt a way to stop it.

    Reasons for choosing Hexnode UEM

I used hexnode in the past, and with a multi os team, its the best to manage all OS settings from a single console.
