A great place to keep your high quality videos.

It took a little while to learn my way around the site and app, but I’m enjoying it now. And I can easily integrate videos with my website which is great.

Pros:

The quality of my video uploads is literally the reason why I became a customer. Vimeo preserve video quality so well.

Cons:

The time it takes for videos to upload is kind of long, but it’s manageable. Also, the video editing tool is pretty limited.

Reasons for switching to Vimeo

Google was compromising the quality of my videos during upload.

Pros:

I can easily engage several teams on the platform and I have the freedom to switch between them. No worries of background disturbances, videos can be mute to avoid them. Also, it brings stability in performance and our overall goal. Creates beautiful presentations which came be customized to make them more appealing. In the case where files in question are too large or contain parts which are not relevant, trimming is possible. This improves efficiency in the final results. It is generally a very easy to use tool.

Cons:

Well, no cons experienced so far. Work is always done to expectations.

Reasons for switching to Vimeo

The bandwidth allocation for this tools are way poor. Vimeo solved that problem.

Powerful but Expensive

The program was solid with no downtime and customer service was responsive when needed. It was too complicated and expensive for a small business trying to just host videos for our own website.

Good setup

It’s a nice tool considering how much you can do with it, like sharing, hosting, embedding, plus some privacy options on top

The way videos are organised and hosted makes it easy to keep things clean. Sharing works well, and embedding in sites or forms is smooth

Cons:

But the free plan feels too limited too quick. Just two videos? Might as well say it’s not free at all. Doesn’t feel like a good option unless you’re paying

Vimeo is an excellent app for those who like to watch videos for free and without annoying ads.

Overall, the Vimeo app is excellent! I've been using it for years and I approve of it. You can easily use it on the free plan if you're not the type of person who uses it a lot. But I highly recommend it to anyone who uses it and continues to use this excellent application.

I really liked the app/website because it has no ads in its videos, high playback quality and advanced privacy. Overall, it is an excellent app.

Cons:

From what I understand, the weekly upload space is quite limited for the free plan, requiring you to pay for a plan to use more advanced features.

A good video platform

I use it several times a week to distribute rough cuts/masters of films for internal/external viewing.

Privacy options (mainly password protection of videos), no copyright checks (great for submitting rough cuts for review), no ads, some sort of folder management (which could be better). Android app.

Cons:

The website is rather slow in the past 1-2 years. Folder management could definitely be better. No feasible way to export/create a complete list of my videos except request directly from customer support.
