The perfect solution for freelancers, SME's, and larger organizational teams

    5

To summarize my experience: my absolute go to solution for both privet and shared e-mail boxes. Centralizing rules, templates, and signatures make Missive a perfect tool for organizational teams.

    Pros:
I absolutely love Missive. I have been using it quite some time now, since they were just in the start-up phase. For private mail accounts it provides all tools you need (for free, mostly). Lots of functionality and lots of integrations: from Todoist (or similar) to openAI or API access. Also an absolute must for teams: affordable plans for a very broad package of team functionality: delegating conversations, tagging each other, discussing conversations, managed signatures, managed responses (templates), and shared inboxes. I have been doubting recently between Spark en Missive, but given Missive's extra and stable functionality over Spark combined with its reasonable pricing it is an absolute no brainer for me to choose Missive. Over the last few years it has been working perfectly on both my MacBook and iPhone. Also love the automations (workflow) through rules and conditions.
    Cons:
So far there is not much I do not like about Missive. I think it is a responsive web-app across the different platforms (instead of a dedicated app), but that's something you barely notice while using it. It makes the experience solid, stable, and uniform across all platforms.

    Reasons for switching to Missive

More functionality and more affordable. Less complicted.

Missive App: A Game-Changer for Email and Team Collaboration

    5

Exceptional. I feel fortunate to have found Missive because I had spent years trying out new email management tools and chat tools and productivity tools. With Missive it streamlines so I could eliminate some tools but also stop my search for looking for something that works perfect for me and can be grown into as well.

    Pros:
I've been using Missive for a couple of years now, and it's been a game-changer for my email management and productivity workflow. After trying out Front, which was too expensive and bulky for my needs, I stumbled upon Missive, and it's been a little miracle find. Missive is incredibly easy to use, even for someone who's not tech-savvy. The interface is clean and minimalistic, making it simple to navigate and find all the features you need. I love how I can connect all my email accounts, manage tasks, and even customize tags with icons and colors. The ability to upload custom icons for tags is a small but thoughtful touch that shows how much attention they pay to detail. It allows me to collaborate seamlessly on emails, assign tasks, and chat in real-time without cluttering up our inboxes. The snooze feature is also a lifesaver, helping me focus on immediate tasks and revisiting emails when it's more convenient. What really sets Missive apart is their customer support. They're always quick to respond and genuinely helpful. Whether you're a solo entrepreneur or part of a larger team, they treat you like you're their most important customer. The documentation is thorough, but it's reassuring to know there's a real person available to answer any questions you might have. I was fortunate enough to get grandfathered into a super price, but even with their occasional price adjustments, Missive remains an excellent value. They're constantly rolling out new features, which is impressive, especially since they work smoothly without the usual glitches you might expect from frequent updates. Why Missive Stands Out To Me- Compared to other tools like Front, Missive is more streamlined and cost-effective. Missive's simplicity and ease of use make it perfect for teams of all sizes looking to streamline their communication without unnecessary complexity. It's ideal for both small teams and larger corporations seeking a user-friendly solution. Missive has genuinely transformed how I manage my emails and chats. It's one of those rare tools that feels like it was made just for you. Whether you're a freelancer or part of a growing business, Missive offers the flexibility and features you need to stay organized and productive. It's definitely worth giving a try if you're looking for a tool that will make your work life easier.
    Cons:
I love Missive, I don't have any cons. Missive is always thinking of features that we don't have to request!

    Reasons for switching to Missive

Because Front was cost more and not as easy to use.

I really like having multiple inboxes in one place, and the ability to tag team members with quick comments instead of extra emails. I also like the snooze options/features to help me organize followups.
    Cons:
Sometimes the search function doesn't feel 'broad' enough. Example: I want to find order SO110000397. If I search using only numbers (110000397) it doesn't come up unless I clear my filters.

    Reasons for switching to Missive

My employer had us switch since our team is now located world-wide and we all need access to shared inboxes.

    Pros:
Missive is extremely user-friendly. It has helped our team manage the inbox efficiently and easily delegate responsibilities. The support team is amazing and very responsive. After trying Missive for just a couple of weeks, we decided to onboard fully—our team quickly learned the key features. The support team also prioritizes our requests, and we can even build custom integrations.
    Cons:
I hope they add an integration with OpenPhone (now called Quo). Also, there’s currently no way to reverse the inbox queue—for example, to view the oldest emails first. This feature is already in their pipeline, and I believe it should be a quick fix, but I’m still waiting.
