About CostTracker

Real-time cost control in projects!
CostTracker is a cloud-based purchase order system designed to help businesses streamline their purchasing process and get real-time cost control, approval management and more. The platform allows managers to create personalized purchase orders using custom business information and logo.

CostTracker lets managers modify or add notes to purchase orders, check approval status and maintain documentation to facilitate auditing. The application offers a host of features, such as data synchronization, invoice processing, collaboration, workflow management, role-based permissions, data import, reporting and more. Additionally, the built-in three-way matching functionality allows users to detect fake invoices, missing goods, delivery errors and fraud activities across the organization.

CostTracker enables teams to access request purchases on a unified portal to improve decision-making. Further, the solution supports integration with various third-party accounting systems via an application programming interface (API). It comes with monthly subscriptions and support is extended via email and other online measures.

          The system is the best fit for our project-based operations. Very user friendly. Basically, Cost tracker has made our procurement process manageable.
          Cons:
          No constraints for now but I wish if the system would include stores/inventory function (where stores items can be added and issued out).

          Great project tracking software

          Very happy overall with the software. It has allows us to get a detailed handle on our production jobs and get on top of our budgets. It also allows us to run reports quickly for stakeholders and access project invoices at the touch of a button.

          Allows us to track our project budgets in real time. Gives us week by week visibility on what we have spent and what our upcoming commitments are which is invaluable to us as a business. The Xero integration is also extremely useful as it saves a tonne of work entering invoices twice.
          Cons:
          Some of the usability can be a little clunky but the software is being improved all the time.

          I find te tool help full while not manny other tools are available. Small issue should be solved like negative number in PO lines.

          That you can send professional organized Purchase Orders. Then automatically processes the PO in relation to Budgets.
          Cons:
          1)You van not enter negative figures in a PO. We want also to be able to enter lines for discount like -10% over the order. 2) For beginners it is not straight forward clear how the proces flow need to be done from PO to Receive to Accounting. 3) in the accounting it is not clear when you enter project data, while you already put in the budget category at te beginning of the PO.

          OCR invoice importing that improves over time. This has stream lined the matching process and made input into QBO effortless.
          Cons:
          I purchased a European software and with that I have inherited some very European features, like the date format and currency conversion. None of these aspects have impaired my ability to use the software efficiently.

          Easy to setup, implement across the business and use on a day to day basis. Employees outside of the finance function who used it also found the system simple to use.

          Nothing to report. Granted we did not used all of the modules (Invoice and cash management).

          We were not able to get the integration with our accounting software right. But we have found a solid work around. The problem is also partly on our side.

          We used to work in excel or place order in an informal way. CostTracker has made it easier for us to have clear agreements with our suppliers and at the same time 100% cost control. W we save a lot of time and money by using CostTracker.
