Helps in capturing quality data

I had access to the tool when my company provided services to another US company that uses this tool, and in order to understand how it works, we had to use it. To our surprise, we were able to learn very quickly.

New to Scout

While we are still new users our experience so far has been excellent in all areas from implementation, on board training field staff to end user experience.

Pros:

Data presentation is clean and understandable Inputting data in the field is easy and verifiable and near real time Objects can be controlled /manipulated by system admins so we have control over our presentation

Cons:

Waiting on report building feature set to come out soon so I can build custom reports.

Reasons for choosing Scout FDC

Felt like Scout had the best looking product, cleanness of data presentation and felt confident they had the support staff who would be able to help us customize our experience.

Reasons for switching to Scout FDC

P2 was difficult for all job functions to access and get the data they needed. It worked for some but not all job roles. Any changes that we wanted to make in P2 took several days or longer to get addressed and often cost us additional fees to have accomplished.

daily production totals can be easily accessed simple well sheets, easy to learn, easy data entry route summary option

Cons:

the time it takes to save, submit, carry forward, and load data it can take up to 10 minutes just to load a lease too much time is wasted waiting on this program

Pros:

The program is very user friendly and easy to use for field and office users. By using Scout we have saved time and become more efficient for the field operations as well as the office users. We are saving field operators an average of 2 hours a day of data entry by bringing in SCADA data into the application. The program allows for our company to be more and more efficient by the day.

Cons:

New features take a little bit of time to get added due to testing and iOS approval.

Saves Time and Improves Data Capture

Pros:

This software enables myself and our field personnel to do more with our time. It streamlines data entry and capture for all of our producing wells and works very well with our existing telemetry and databases.

Cons:

I dislike that we can't have a few different high level graphs on our home dashboard page.

Pros:

The software allows us to easily view our data from an analytical standpoint and is also easy to input from the field. The software's ability to mold to our needs while also offering upgrades that other customers are suggesting without much additional cost is the best feature.

Cons:

The monthly reconciliation process is a feature that was missing initially but is currently being developed. We also hope to use the reporting process a bit more extensively than is currently being utilized.

Reasons for switching to Scout FDC

The previous product was too segmented as there were four different modules to fully use the product. Also, the support was very poor.
