Customer support could be improved. Live chat support is much expected to be more developed. Better customer handling and spontaneous resolutions.

Pros:

Really great product at a good price. We are able to monitor all admin level devices in our environment with real time alerts to monitor network traffic and ensure device uptime is maximized. Customer support is quick to get back to us with answers, it is a real easy to use product.

Cons:

There are some minor nice to have features that are lacking, so we will see how responsive their development team is to feature suggestion.

Great for what we needed, no unnecessary features we would not use, better price point.

Reasons for switching to ManageEngine OpManager Plus

New licensing subscription model became expensive, OpManager was a similar price (if not a bit less) but offered far more features.

Ease of operation and easy device discovery is possible. Server monitoring and clear alerting via email is possible

Cons:

Nothing as such. All tools present in the tool are good. However in case of a new device which is not in the database only ICMP monitoring is possible

Good tool but with some opportunity areas.

it is great to do monitoring for network devices that has the OIDs loaded in the tool, but there are some basic things like monitor some devices only by ping to a specific ip address that are difficult to do.

It can go deeply monitoring for certain services and features, it has been useful for my network monitoring and alerting

Cons:

The columns adjustment is a nightmare, if you have devices with long names, you can’t see the name properly and to expand the columns is very dificult. Also there is not posible to have a live graphic for availability, latency and/or packet loss.

My OpMan Life

Overall, I am quite pleased with OpManger - both the product, and the team - I had a bit of a learning curve when I was first assigned the responsibility of managing this critical system, but this was due to my lack of inexperience with it - the ITOM training I received at a local conference helped immensely.

What I like least is the lack of Dark Mode in the UI, but I know they are working on adding this to future editions
