About IDEA Architecture

IDEA Architecture is a building information modelling (BIM) software that enables businesses to design 2D/3D models and streamline animation, 5D costing, and 4D scheduling operations. The application lets users export designs to create walkthrough videos of buildings.

IDEA Architecture allows designers to modify different attributes of building models like beams’ angle, width and length, walls, stairs, roofs and more. It offers a host of features such as notifications, data import/export, zoom in and out, annotations, orthophoto maps, and preview functionality. Additionally, design teams can view, render and browse through models while moving or modifying their area, size or other elements.

IDEA Architecture allows users to edit DWG drawings, convert 3D objects into vector files and share 3D or 2D designs with internal or external stakeholders. It is available on a one-time payment and support is provided via an online form.

Great for 2d floor plan

I hope Architecture IDEA get some good marketing on in our field to have better chance to be know by the Architects and customers

Reliable price compared to Auto CAD that is extremely expensive for a small business like me

Cons:

Most clients don't know about IDEA Architecture and they prefer seeing designs on AutoCAD

Pros:

IT supports DWG files and has adequate functionality. It is reasonably priced and you could run a small practice with it. I don't know that I would recommend it but I don't know that I wouldn't either.

Cons:

It is not the industry standard and that would make me nervous. I know AutoCAD is ridiculously expensive but it is what everyone uses.
