About APIWorx Managed API Platform

APIWorx is a cloud-based integration platform, which helps small to large B2B eCommerce and manufacturing enterprises manage data flows across various third-party marketplaces, CRM, ERP, accounting, POS and order fulfillment systems.

APIWorx allows developers to create, maintain, monitor, publish and secure APIs. The customizable connectors help streamline order flow from multiple channels to fulfillment solutions. It lets IT teams handle concurrent API calls along with authorization, access control and traffic and version management. Additionally, it also enables developers to build server-less and REST APIs, letting web and mobile applications call publicly available services.

APIWorx facilitates integration with BigCommerce, FedEx, Coupa, Shopify, Brightpearl, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Onbuy, OntraPort, LightSpeed POS, PayPal, Wayfair and various other applications. It is available on monthly subscriptions and support is extended via documentation, phone and email.

GSA Advantage Integration

Our firm engaged with APIWorx in 2023 to establish a connection between GSA Advantage! and Sage Intacct in order to import orders for our team to process. The professional developers at API Worx were able to create an integration that maps the somewhat complex GSA Purchase Orders into Intacct, including steps such as: creating the customer; creating the shipping address (accounting for one-off special address situations); creating the part numbers; creating custom units of measure when necessary; and integrating with our credit card processer to sync credit cards into our processor’s secure environment, and back down into Intacct to the order level. This process has sped up our order processing time immensely and given us confidence that orders are more accurate since it eliminates much of the potential for human error. Any time we have had to communicate with APIWorx for technical assistance, their team has been helpful and responsive to our inquiries. We are now working with APIWorx on a different integration that we anticipate will be as efficient as our initial experience.

When working the solution does exactly what it says and is good value for money

Cons:

Communication during integration was very poor. Lots of issues with anything that isn't a very basic integration, lots of surprising issues found during testing including simple rules around tax and payment types.

API WORX - Great developer to connect multiple platforms for your business

Good experience. The software does what it's supposed to do, and even more importantly there communication and customer service is on point.

Pros:

Ability to integrate multiple platforms via API or FTP integrations. They are able to use big platforms like Amazon and Shopify and integrate with 3PL and Order Management Platforms that may require customization to operate accurately.

Cons:

The team is great at APIWORX. They communicate very well and are quick to implement, and trouble shoot any issues. The only downside is most of the developer are offshore from North America, so sometimes you have to wait for updates overnight. That said they often work around your schedule as needed.

Reasons for switching to APIWorx Managed API Platform

Stitch Labs was being discontinued. We moved to Brightpearl and used APIWORX to integrate Brightpearl and other platforms.

Great EDI Integration with Intacct

APIWorx has been great. They are easy to game plan a project and then help throughout the initial rollout. I think the customer experience has been the best part of this relationship. Any obstacles we face or changes we need to make for our existing connections are always handled in a timely manner. Always a pleasure working with [sensitive content hidden].

Cons:

Typically, I have been pretty happy with our relationship with APIWorx. Of course we have run into issues with our connectors failing or crashing during our initial rollouts, but that comes with the territory. APIWorx has been great at working to resolve those issues no matter how long after the rollout we experience them.
