Matomo vs Tableau: Which is best for you?

We used matomo in for a unique requirement which was to track all the use interaction and we wished all those things downloaded on our premise which gets really easy with matomo cause you can setup matomo on your servers.

It is not as famous as google analytics.

Tableau allows me to connect to the SQL in real-time, Excel, cloud data and create layered visualizations instantly.

Now I am used to it, but I found in the beginning it was hard to navigate the setup of site. When we onboard new users I see them struggling as well when trying to learn all the features.
