About Elementor

Elementor is a website builder solution for WordPress that helps businesses streamline operations related to text editing, history tracking, theme designing and landing pages development, among other processes. It allows employees to use the built-in widgets to insert buttons, forms, headlines, slides and countdowns.

Elementor's workflow module enables staff members to navigate through page elements, use hotkeys or shortcuts, create drafts, copy specific styles and automatically back-up all data. Developers can add custom fonts, colors, background gradients, overlays, videos, slideshows, icons and other elements. Additionally, the layout functionality lets users edit page sections, margins, paddings, content positioning and column gaps.

Elementor comes with an application programming interface (API), which allows businesses to integrate the system with several third-party solutions, such as MailChimp, HubSpot and Salesforce. It is available on annual subscriptions and support is extended via live chat, documentation, community forum, FAQs and video tutorials.

Excellent front end builder

I'm overall pleased with Elementor. I've used it for countless businesses, and taught it in the classroom as well. Compared to other front-end builders out there, this is a clear winner for building WordPress sites.

Pros:

I've built well over 50 websites with elementor, if not closer to 100, and the value for this builder continues to improve every year. A pro license is well worth the cost and provides you excellent templates, as well as the ability to save your own templates and create faster workflows for building websites. The ability to now use their cloud templates also is a welcomed improvement over the previous export and "paste from another site" options.

Cons:

My only gripe with elementor is around their image optimization plugin currently always being pushed even inside the builder. The other weak spot in the builder is the ability to view revision history, this could be improved upon greatly. Lastly, setting those viewport sizes. Give people a 4k viewport template. We get so many clients who go to review an elementor project on 4k and we end up having to sink much more time into making the desktop view 4k friendly.

Initially for page load speed improvement.

Elementor - build easy

Elementor is a great website builder, is easy to use and setup. It has many widgets wich are easy to customize and use with my deigns and content needs.

I really like the visual builder, it makes it easy for me to view the design while I build it. The drag and drop feature is nice to have as it really saves a lot of time to arrange the elements in page.

Cons:

I can't say it has thing I dont like until now.

Reasons for choosing Elementor

I have tried Divi Builder before deciding, Elementor offers more options and more compatibility with third party plugins and themes.

It's so easy to integrate into Wordpress and get going. There are plenty of links online for help and the Elementor website is comprehensive in the help/support sections.

Cons:

So much functionality, it can take a while to find the button you want to overcome a challenging edit.

With Elementor, I am able to effectively create and design websites and landing pages without coding via free CSS templates and drag and drop editor.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the pricing for domain registration is expensive compared to other providers.

Elementor is easy to use since it has a clean UI.

Easy and fast, but still better for pros

I've worked and built myself websites with a lot of different site builders, Elementor is by far the fastest one and the one that causes less troubles even tho is not immune to bugs.

Fixing errors is not easy for non-dev people defeating the purpose of being a platform for everyone.

I found divi slower and heavier on the code, with less options, even though I was on a premium plan it was hard to deploy some simple widget and customer care never answered.

Excellent feature if you want to personalize and upgrade your website.

I really like it and found very interesting how there is always a way to achieve what I wanted in my website. And if I was not able to change it, there was always the CSS option to modify whatever I wanted to.

I like that elementor has so many features to make the webpage customizable. Is very complete and user friendly once you research in the internet how to use, in my case I used chatgpt and elementor webpage to understand different features.

Nothing comes close for a visual no code builder in Wordpress

Never thought I'd be able to produce the kind of websites I have with a no code solution and such inexpensive tools as Elementor running on top of Wordpress. I use a lot of freelancers and it's wide adoption also makes it easy to outsource certain aspects of the work.

There's a lot of these visual editing tools available both for Wordpress and elsewhere. For me, nothing comes close to Elementor for it's ease of use (once you've learned it a bit) for the price.

Cons:

It has a bit of a learning curve. Some elements take a bit longer to 'get' than others but the learning tools available from Elementor and the community are great.

Powerful Wordpress Page Builder Plugin

It has been easy and effective to create highly responsive both mobile and desktop friendly websites with Elementor.

I like the fact that Elementor only involves drag-and-drag to create and design websites and landing pages.

Cons:

It requires frequent fixes and security updates on websites created through Elementor which is sometimes time consuming due to lack of automation capabilities.
