About Eventbrite

Eventgrid is a cloud-based event registration and ticketing solution that helps users organize conferences, seminars, festivals, shows, forums and matches. Key features include event management, ticketing and payment modules.

Eventgrid supports the creation of customized online event registration pages, multiple types of tickets and pricing structures, discount codes and professional barcoded/iPhone passbook tickets. The solution helps users organize, manage and track events and attendees using its proprietary analytics tools, and it can create badges for registered attendees.

Eventgrid lets customers view seating layouts and select seats, sell event merchandise and receive and process online payments via Stripe, Authorize.Net or PayPal. It also helps users market events through email marketing, customer segmentation and customer relationship management (CRM), social media integration, embedded custom widgets and affiliate marketing. Eventgrid can be accessed on mobile devices and supports iBeacon and Passbook integration to offer auto check-in facility. Support is offered via phone and email.

Brite and Shining!

I am very happy now using eventbrite, a while ago I wasn't convinced with it's capabilities but now I love it!

It has so many differing avenues and reaches far and wide. Definitely an asset business wise and personally

Sometimes can be hard to find what I'm looking for, could look more engaging on set up as can look a bit like a spam file.

A sound ticketing system that assists in keeping operations of customer service systems in check amidst busy event periods.

I apply the use of Eventbrite in my daily task of registration of events, receiving of customer queries, and recording of attendance of events. It is useful in a hospitality environment to centralize ticketing and payments to allow our support team to be able to respond quicker and with more context.

I also enjoy the fact that it is simple to access the attendee information when replying to customer emails. Access to payment and ticket history is useful in solving problems more assuredly.

Cons:

Sometimes bugs can be observed during updating of events near the start date. Email messages are not always timely, which introduces minor delays in communication with customers.

I enjoyed using it for the events we had at the time. They were small enough that it was easy to manage through eventbrite. We were able to have different pricing on our tickets. I like the sales data provide. We were able to see where customers lived gender age and when peak time.for ticket sales was allowing us to adjust prices for those leak times offering discounts.

Able to sell tickets at varied prices and cross promote events on social media. Having the option to pay for advertising to event brite customers.

Cons:

All the fees day of the event ticket sales were a challenge as they don't offer a physical payment system. We could only accept cash.

Pros:

As an end user of Eventbrite over the last 8-9 years, I have always found the platform intuitive and easy to use. From using the platform to book onto events as part of my MBA programme to booking tickets for the family, the platform works well. I have never required support from customer service, such is the ease at which the platform can be used and the confirmation emails received after placing a booking is useful, especially with tools to quickly add events to your calendar. As an end user the value for money is exceptional, as no service charge is payable in my experience, when making a booking. The platform appears to be bug free (which is rare) and I have never encountered an issue with booking tickets.

Cons:

There’s very little to dislike. It just works as expected. If I were to try very hard to find something I dislike, it would be the layout of printed tickets, but this is entirely trivial and it in no way impacts the use of the platform.

It’s fine, but there are better tools out there

It works, but it’s just okay. Nothing feels broken, but it also doesn’t feel inspired. It does the job and still leaves you wishing for more.

It gets the basic job done. You can set up an event, collect RSVPs, and track attendance. The interface is familiar enough that anyone can figure it out with a little patience, and it integrates with calendars and email.

Cons:

It feels underwhelming for both personal and corporate use. For personal events, Partiful is much better and feels more modern and social. For corporate events, there are plenty of platforms that handle branding, customization, and attendee management more smoothly. The design looks dated, notifications can be clunky, and nothing about it really stands out.

Reasons for switching to Eventbrite

UI/UX--I switched because I wanted something that felt more modern and user-friendly. Eventbrite was fine for the basics, but it started to feel clunky and outdated compared to other tools. Partiful offered a smoother experience for personal events, and there are stronger, more customizable options for corporate ones.

Very good tool! Easy and straightforward.

It has been very nice. Never faced any issues and I have no complaints. As I mentioned, I use it for activities around the company and for lunch/dinner. It’s been good so far!

My favorite event application.

Overall love the site and shows all the upcoming events and prices. I always look forward to seeing the future events so I can plan way in advance.

Pros:

I loved how user friendly it is and how it presents the upcoming events. I would have never known wine dinners were being held at my favorite local restaurant. It shows the menu and price per person with the option of buying through the site instead of the restaurant.

Cons:

Sometimes the site takes awhile to load on my phone. Not sure if it is the site or my phone that is a few years old.

Solid Event Manager and Ticketing system which looks and feels great

A solid performer when it comes to ticketing for events. Easy to set up and communicate events and changes. You can also create a cost to tickets which is useful too.

Pros:

Eventbrite has got a lot better recently. I also quite like some of the UI improvements, particularly the design when using it on a mobile phone or mobile browser. You can load your tickets easily and quickly.

Cons:

With other providers, any lag or delay with loading tickets to events is extremely annoying. EventBrite has mostly removed this annoyance and it works well. before, it did used to be fiddly but now it seems to work reliably.
