This product is truly impressive. I purchased the Pearl model for our library so we could track patron visits by day and hour. This data is incredibly valuable for understanding our busiest times and how we serve our community, and we also use it in our Annual Report to New York State to document library usage. The Pearl Store Traffic Counter has been a wonderful resource for us. We previously had a SenSource unit that stopped working, and the cost to replace it was far beyond our budget. This option was significantly more affordable and, in my opinion, well worth the investment. I also love that the data syncs directly to my phone at no additional cost—unlike the SenSource alternative. When we initially had trouble installing the unit, [sensitive content hidden] from Tech Support was incredibly responsive and even hopped on a video call to troubleshoot with me. We determined that the first unit was faulty, and they sent a replacement at no additional cost, even though I had purchased it through Amazon. After another quick video call, [sensitive content hidden] was able to get everything up and running smoothly. It’s worked great ever since, and I’m very pleased with this product!

The only snag I ran into was that our WiFi wasn’t initially compatible, which led to some tricky rerouting. Since we’re a library, we primarily operate on public connections, and our private network was 5 GHz rather than the required 2.4 GHz. I was able to work around this using a WiFi extender, but it did take a bit of extra effort and technical know-how to set up.

The door counters once up and running are easy to get the information we need. We only use the door counters to get a number of patrons that use our library for state reports and statistics. The numbers have been consistent and mostly likely accurate to the days business.

The door counters are working well, but when we first installed them it was difficult to set them up with our wireless internet. We use two different wireless systems (one for our patrons and one for staff). The door counters did not always recognize the wireless we were wanting to use. Also, we have to change out the batteries on average every two months. It would be nice if they were solar powered or able to recharge on their own.

It's a simple enough setup, not many ways to make a mistake.

Mistakes on supports' end; lack of complete instructions at times. I think the price is a bit expensive considering we need to complete entire setup ourselves.

The training, one on one, was the most helpful to understand the possibilities of the counter we received. It is wonderful to compile data to know more about our organizations foot traffic.

I understand we were limited in our options of what type of people counter we could purchase. However it would be nice to have a wider range for counting people, in the sense of children under the height of our scanner.

I had the product for over a year and no one ever showed me the reports that I should have been using all along.

Ease of use. It was easy to set up and the reports are great!

None. The only thing I didn't like is not knowing about this sooner.

We can actually see data for all of our locations regardless of its a paid entry or not. The accuracy of the counts and ease of use make the implantation a breeze.

There are no cons except they dont install themselves. Its a great product.

We use T.M.A.S. to count the number of customers that come in our store every day and can compare that with our daily sales. We also use to count how many customers go to different departments within our store. We also use the real time occupancy, so we know exactly home many customers are in our store in Realtime using the SMS ap. The website is fairly simple to use, and reporting gives a lot of useful information.

I don't really have and issue with this product.

The data is crucial to our business and their customer service is great.

The api sometimes fails, but they are always quick to fix.
