We got Aws Credits when we completed startup School under YC. We used it for our last startups.though I am not a tech guy but I can give a balanced feedback. - Easy onboarding (No problem faced by our team in setting up) - relatively good customer support. - enhanced our site performance

Cons:

Nothing as such. Rather AWS is doing a great work by supporting startups. If Th er customer response is a bit more fast and a support for non-tech guy when they get started will be beneficial.
