Pros:

Its easy to generate reports to collaborate with different parts of the organization. Reports that we did manually we can have updated daily and always have ready to share with management or other intrested parties

Cons:

One thing we wished would be added would be to see more who made a change in AD objects for example not just that a change has occured

We want to abolish static and out-dated Excel-documents that wrongy details our live environment. vScope really gives you correct and up-to-date data.

Pros:

It's very fast, the possibilities with all available data is almost endless. The support is both very quick and they're overall very responsive to implementing new ideas and features.

Cons:

Can be quite daunting to realise new ideas in the correct way (what is the correct way?). Many possibilities to accomplish the same thing.

Reasons for switching to vScope

Because static Excel-documents are really bad.

Insight into all your infrastructure and possibility to share with others

Great. It's a really valuable tool for someone like me that need to keep track of licenses, patching levels, devices, certificates etc without having to digg around in many differens systems.

Pros:

I'm no longer blind and can see how many users, devices, software etc we have and have an updated view. Dashboards and tables can be shared with controllers and business so they can see and check their own resources.

Cons:

It provides good value but could be cheaper :) It has the ability to track changes on various KPI's and custom values and alert but it's not realtime. That would be nice. More graphs and ways to visualize data on a dashboard.

Billing module, ease of use when "all" (most) data is available in one system.

Cons:

Today a bit troublesome to add connectors that we need but not in the system.

I contacted support and get response within half day, then they investigated our issue and started to fix this issue by a update ASAP.I get feedback when IT was ready for test again, then some more things needed to be adjusted and they did within 24 hours. super great service and support from tech personal [sensitive content hidden] and the team.

Noting yet maybe I will find something further on .. how know !

It is possible to set up your own reports in the system. Very useful. vScope is also a very good tool to use for service mapping.

Cons:

It takes some time to understand how the gui works.

Very positive thinking support personnel that either helps you solve your issue immediately or bring it up for review to solve it via an update. It is fast to work with and easy when you learn a few basic quirks and tricks.

Cons:

Dashboard function needs improvements in its customization abilities. Very limiting from an UX perspective.
