Pros:
Centralized File Management – Acts as a powerful digital asset manager (DAM) for organizing, browsing, and previewing files (photos, videos, design assets, etc.) without needing to open multiple apps.
Cons:
No Catalog System – Files are referenced from folders (like Finder/Explorer), which some prefer, but others miss Lightroom’s managed catalog for backups/portability.

Cons:
It can feel a bit heavy at times, especially when loading big directories. Some tasks take longer than expected, and the performance dips are noticeable on older machines. It’s also not as smooth when working with videos compared to photos.
