For agencies, Bid Express stores and receives digitally-signed bids in a secure lockbox that uses secure encryption and lockbox technology to ensure that all bids are safe. Users can create multiple solicitation templates for any type of project. Real-time notifications can help users keep track of any bidding updates from vendors up until the last minute.

For vendors, bids, active solicitations, bid-related documents are stored entirely in an online portal. Bids bonds are verified via S2000, Inc. and SuretyWave. Vendors can review bid results and compare their bids to competitors.

Bid Express supports both agency-pay or vendor-pay models.

Pros:

The automatic notifications on jobs that we are interested in, help keep track of the bid status and solicitations that we are interested in. Smoother bid process, even through the Covid lockdowns . . .

Cons:

What we liked least was the waiting time for signature approval, mailing to Florida and waiting for reply which has changed now with the online approval which takes less time.

We appreciate having the opportunity to do our bids electronically. The ease with which we can produce the on-line documents is better than we originally expected.
