Pros:

Flexibility and adaptability. User-friendly great software for storage on documents and pictures. We are able to use it as a CRM as well to help store customer information

Cons:

They are still working on development, but every time they publish updates, it seems to get better

Reasons for switching to ConGenius

Congenius, is developing to help fill the gaps of other service programs. Everything that I felt was missing on the other applications has filled in the gap and exceeded my expectations.

Pros:

I have been using ConGenius for over a year now as a General Contractor. This software has saved me so much time and money! I am able to win more jobs at higher prices because my bids look so clean, concise, and professional. My time to complete bids is typically under an hour and sometimes less than 15 minutes, saving me so much office time. Highly recommend it!

Cons:

A little bit of a learning curve but that is going to be the case with any estimating software.

Reasons for choosing ConGenius

Because the founder is a contractor and built something to actually solve real problems he experienced. Not just a company trying to build something that they think will solve problems that they don't even know exist. They also answered their phone when I called!

Reasons for switching to ConGenius

Needed something more robust and professional looking.

Excellent Tool for Contractors

Excellent, been using it for a while. The platform just keeps getting better and better. They also listen to the overall needs of their users and work to implement them into a positive work flow.

Ease of use is #1. It’s also a very professional tool that will elevate any contractor’s presentation and efficiency.

Cons:

Honestly, just waiting for them to expand the platform into project management and then we will be work at 100% capacity.

Pros:

ConGenius best features are the ease of use. The onboarding process for many builder software products are a high ceiling to bring to operational use. Not ConGenius! In a matter of minutes you will be ready to build out your templates and send estimates.

Cons:

I would like to see a features for Project management daily reports. Not complicated. Just simple records for PMs and or staff to records daily operations .

ConGenius was the right product at the right time for our company. BT was not delivering what it need to for the cost.

Missing. A few functions that I would like but the customer service is great and the direction they are heading is in line with what I need

In full transparency, I work at ConGenius, so take it or leave it. I have never worked with a group of people that care as deeply about contractors building a better business as the team at ConGenius does. ConGenius is the the most user friendly and powerful estimating software on the market to date. I'm really excited about the innovation and features that are on our future roadmap and making an impact on people that build our cities in a positive way. What makes it different? Most software is built by a team of engineers trying to build software for a problem they don't understand (which is not their fault). ConGenius is actually designed and architected by [sensitive content hidden], a tech entrepreneur who has grown up in the trades and actually owned and operated a remodeling company. Cons:

I wish it wasn't so hard to build truly impactful and useful software, but if it was easy, everyone would do it.

I like that the software is easy to use. It takes some time to generate assemblies however, once generated they make bidding simple and fast.

Cons:

The only downside is not having a pdf search tool. That would help with finding text that pertains to your particular scope of work.

Congenius has been an excellent fit for our company. We have increased our conversion rates thanks to the professional presentation of the final estimates. Now we can get estimates done four times faster, the take-off tools are awesome. The entire software is built to make contractors more efficient, competitive, and professional. Its definitely a most try, i strongly recommend it.

Cons:

There is nothing i don't like, there is room for improvement but the Congenius team seems eager to collect feedback and make the software better

Must have software

I can’t recommend congenius enough. Efficient software for estimating. Take a little time up front and you can build out assemblies, what your proposals look like, and every estimate from then on only takes a couple minutes. I even uploaded blueprint into the software and had linear feet, door count, window count, and wall square footage put together and an estimate sent off to the customer within 10-15 minutes. Must have for a contractor.

Cons:

Takes a little bit to get used to up front as you’re creating your items and assemblies.
