About Viber

Viber is a web and mobile-based communication solution, which enables businesses of all sizes to connect with clients and run promotional campaigns via one-to-one chats, video calls and text messages.

The application lets professionals run advertisements, convert leads and process payments. Brands can use Viber community feature to manage and interact with multiple members simultaneously, publish links to invite new users, control admin or member privileges and customize the community's image or description. Administrators can also add or remove community members and delete posted messages. It also allows marketing teams to enhance audience engagement and brand awareness using its sticker content functionality.

A Reliable Messaging App with Room for Improvement

t’s a reliable platform for messaging and voice/video calls, especially when connecting with friends and family internationally. The end-to-end encryption adds a layer of security, which I appreciate. I also liked features like group chats, sticker packs, and the ability to make international calls to non-Viber numbers

While the core messaging and calling features are useful, the app sometimes felt cluttered and not as intuitive compared to other messaging platforms.

Reasons for switching to Viber

I switched from Telegram to Viber mainly for its stronger focus on privacy and security. While Telegram offers great features, I found that Viber’s end-to-end encryption for both messages and calls provided an extra layer of protection that I valued more for personal and professional communications.

Essential app for business with proper sequrity

As a free communication tools, quality of Viber is very higher than other software. Calling , chatting feature is very updated and easy to use. Besides we feel quality of communication during calls is loud and clear. We can make a group and follow up activities easily in Viber.

Pros:

For personal and professional use , Viber is a interesting tool, I can easily communicate with co worker and share files and do conversation with maximum privacy. For considering friends who stays abroad ,normally I use Viber to contact them, it came free for me. Quality of video and audio call most of the time is very good.

Cons:

Right now I don't have any complain about it, most of the problem they continuously updating, last time we face bad network during calling, but last couple of month , I didn't experience it.

Some of my customers prefers Viber to use. For supporting them I switched to Viber.

Easy to use, fast, and reliable for calls and messages. Love the stickers too.

To speak personally, using Viber isn't bad for me at all. Sometimes, when it comes to using it for work, large file sizes can cause delays and slowdowns. But overall, it's very good both for work and for communicating with family. Plus, you can make calls at any time and quickly send whatever is needed. Also, since it has stickers I like, it's very convenient. Occasionally, new stickers also come in, which adds to my satisfaction.

Cons:

In my opinion, Viber doesn't allow certain photos and files to be stored for a long time. This has become a major inconvenience for me, both for work and personal use.

1) User-Friendly Interface - very easy to use 2) High-Quality Calls - Quite good quality in both audio and video calls. 3) Group Communication Tools - offer free for large group communication like company wide chat group for transportation management.

Cons:

1) File Sharing Limitations - file size and storage duration 2) Automatic Media Saving - which can lead to burst storage consuming. You need to make some changes in settings to avoid unnecessary storage allocation. 3) Intrusive Ads - some advertisements are very disruptive.

Good app but location-dependent

Viber is a good app in countries where it's popular, so it's very useful if you have a lot of friends using it. If not, there's no reason to download it. It doesn't work particularly better or worse than other messaging apps.

easy to use, has all the standard features of a chat app, is very reliable except when censored, can send decent quality of photos and videos

Cons:

viber tends to get censored a lot by various governments which isn't a problem with the app itself but does impede communication, which is the central point of the app. It also doesn't integrate with any other chat apps and I haven't yet found how to open it on the computer
