    Sage 100 works for us

    Very positive. All the pros are still what we experience. The glitches happen maybe 5-6 times out of the year.

    As a company that job costs employees' time, this has been an easy tool to use. It also serves us well with reporting and tracking finances.
    Cons:
    Sometimes data doesn't save. We still sometimes experience glitches when running payroll. It doesn't take a lot of time to address, but it still takes time and is perplexing as to why this happens from time to time.

    Sage 100 the good and the bad!

    I personally love it, and it is very user friendly, but because I had the local (not web based) version I could only get to log in VIA remote etc... but it suited everything I needed for my company.

    sage is very develop-able and can be adjusted to do all your needs, ( only with a Great Re-seller )
    Cons:
    the least I like about sage is that in order to really get an understanding of the software you must have an awesome re-seller and there is only a handful (maybe a bit more) and they charge huge amounts of money to do the work.... so, it ends up being very pricey...

    Reasons for choosing Sage 100

    we were on the older version of sage (2018) and we wanted to go further since everyone was used to sage (keep in mind we are a huge company)

    Sage 100 excellent for my customers

    I consider that Sage 100 is a complete accounting application, which allows you to adapt to the needs of customers. Multiple companies can be handled, each with their specifications. Have integration between modules, to facilitate transaction processes. Although it is easy to manage, it maintains rigorous control in tracking transactions and access controls. If everything is recorded in the System, Sage presents a few reports that allow you to see the data for good decision-making. It's worth the investment. In addition to being a Sage Reseller, Infomedika also offers multiple modifications that adapt very effectively to the application and laws of Puerto Rico, among other support services, interfaces or customized reports.

    Not for everyone, but a great accounting program

    I've always had great luck with Sage 100. I have several clients who use it, and they're all quite happy with it. There IS a bit more of a learning curve to it if you've never worked with an accounting program before, but if you have some basic accounting knowledge, then it's fairly intuitive.

    Smart Campaign Tracking

    Managing campaign budgets and tracking ROI with Sage has been really wonderful. I use its financial clarity for my role as a junior digital marketing manager to keep a watch on campaigns so they stay on track. It doesn't guess at me; its real live updates eliminated inefficiencies so that we can move budgets around as needed. Campaigns have a direct effect on the company's bottom line; it is easy to see that financial management is really a lot less intimating.

    Its real instant financial tracking and customizable reporting features make Sage 100 a distinct advantage amongst the rest. Continuous tracking means that campaign budgets, expenses, and financial performance are always relevant and allow for immediate implementation.
    Cons:
    While the user interface of Sage 100 is not my favorite part about the software, it could certainly use a bit of modernizing and an intuitive interface. For example, the automation of financial monitoring could also be expanded to save more time repeating tasks.

    In the past, when we used QuickBooks, it was a great general accounting application, but it wasn't specifically designed for marketing. Sage 100 provided more direct focus on the tracking of campaign performance and ROI, which was what we were after.

    Sage 100 Improvements Needed

    Needs to take lessons from Quickbooks. So many simple things that would make transaction processing and reconciliation much easier.

    Ease of use. Straight-forward transaction processing (for most). Small learning curve. Use of Microsoft Query to get data. All reports are in Crystal Reports and can be modified, as well as create new reports easily.
    Cons:
    A couple of samples: 1) Bank reconciliation module should create any transaction that posts to a general ledger cash account. Such as a journal entry, not just transaction entry. 2) Lack of comment detail and other fields to the GL. For example, posting Receipt of Goods/Receipt of Invoice has no reference to the PO#. 3) Banking integration (need to do like Quickbooks).
