Branchbob free website great for Starting your own Website

I have spend over $400 on a website for one year and didn't make any sales. I didn't want to lose anymore money so I switch to Branchbob for free and I was able to connect my own domain and payment option. And actually start makes a few sales without sending any money.

Pros:

Went I start they only had a free plan, which was amazing because I could connect my own domain for free and also able to make sale without a paid plan. Most other free plan would come with a catch use their payment solution or a paid pln to start accepting payment.

Cons:

Not able to see visitors on my site, or shopping cart recovery and integrates shipping platform.

A free e-commerce store for all

It was simple to set up a store that looked half decent, but ultimately the lack of features (free or otherwise) left me going back to Shopify.

Pros:

For being completely free (add ons cost extra), branchbob is a great way for those starting out or have a low budget to get their e-commerce store up and running.

Cons:

Lacks critical features like theme customization, importing data, and integration with 3rd party shipping apps.

Needs more templates.

It's been fun especially the free mode.... Also the premium plan is very cheap... I would still prefer Branch Bob to shopify because it's relatively cheap... My only problem with branchbob is the template issue

I like the fact that the air generated a very nice site for me. The website generated was nice and I love it

Cons:

I didn't like the fact that I only get one template... Its annoying. Other website builders give more than one template to use.

Reasons for switching to branchbob

Branchbob was cheaper than shopify for example, I'd pay for premium branchbob for $45 which lasts a year... But shopify collects double of that for a month.

It offers free plan which includes all necessary features, it's fast, it's easy to setup, it offers awesome development options for extending functionality and look, it's easy to connect own domain

Cons:

Only a minor thing, not being able to switch off shipping details and use it for selling digital goods out of the box. But, their support was quite helpful in pointing out how to go around this issue.

Reasons for choosing branchbob

branchbob offers free plan, which is quite helpful for startups.. also, they are using Liquid in their customizer, so not very different form my second choice (Shopify)

Either my eCommerce websites were too slow, or the platform itself was too expensive for startups, or they were lacking some essential features
