About Eventbrite

Eventgrid is a cloud-based event registration and ticketing solution that helps users organize conferences, seminars, festivals, shows, forums and matches. Key features include event management, ticketing and payment modules.

Eventgrid supports the creation of customized online event registration pages, multiple types of tickets and pricing structures, discount codes and professional barcoded/iPhone passbook tickets. The solution helps users organize, manage and track events and attendees using its proprietary analytics tools, and it can create badges for registered attendees.

Eventgrid lets customers view seating layouts and select seats, sell event merchandise and receive and process online payments via Stripe, Authorize.Net or PayPal. It also helps users market events through email marketing, customer segmentation and customer relationship management (CRM), social media integration, embedded custom widgets and affiliate marketing. Eventgrid can be accessed on mobile devices and supports iBeacon and Passbook integration to offer auto check-in facility. Support is offered via phone and email.

Easy event management platform, where we can all the ticktes in one place. Easy to use the search function too.

Cons:

Not all the events can be found here. I believe if depends on the organizer. So it ends up being limited the amount of events we can have access to

I have always found the platform easy to use and I have never had trouble booking onto events using the system, and the tickets it issues have always worked.

Pros:

As an end user of Eventbrite over the last 8-9 years, I have always found the platform intuitive and easy to use. From using the platform to book onto events as part of my MBA programme to booking tickets for the family, the platform works well. I have never required support from customer service, such is the ease at which the platform can be used and the confirmation emails received after placing a booking is useful, especially with tools to quickly add events to your calendar. As an end user the value for money is exceptional, as no service charge is payable in my experience, when making a booking. The platform appears to be bug free (which is rare) and I have never encountered an issue with booking tickets.

Cons:

There’s very little to dislike. It just works as expected. If I were to try very hard to find something I dislike, it would be the layout of printed tickets, but this is entirely trivial and it in no way impacts the use of the platform.

Brite and Shining!

I am very happy now using eventbrite, a while ago I wasn't convinced with it's capabilities but now I love it!

It has so many differing avenues and reaches far and wide. Definitely an asset business wise and personally

Sometimes can be hard to find what I'm looking for, could look more engaging on set up as can look a bit like a spam file.

Easy to use, competitive platform pricewise

It has been good to have an alternative to ticketmaster, since I found eventbrite after, familiar enough and easy to use.

Provided me with more competitive prices than Ticketmaster or other sites I used to compare. Interface seemed familiar and easy to use.

Cons:

Seat map could take some time to load and it's not smooth enough when transitioning from a selected seat to another area with different value or price.

Very good tool! Easy and straightforward.

It has been very nice. Never faced any issues and I have no complaints. As I mentioned, I use it for activities around the company and for lunch/dinner. It’s been good so far!

Good as an user, improvements for organizers.

I like about eventbrite is the free option to publish events, and how easy can be to add extra information to guide the user.

Cons:

The platform doen´t let to personalize too much your event page. It has a delayed in the payments, that can male ech event a little caotic.

Pros:

One of the best things is how easy it is to get started. There isn't a significant learning curve to overcome to get your event up and running.

Cons:

Since this is a software you're using to setup your event, rather than a more custom solution, there are limitations to how much input you have into the design of the landing page you can create for the event.

The dashboard gives you a clean overview of ticket sales and attendee data in real time, which is incredibly useful for planning logistics.

Cons:

Service fees on paid events can feel steep, especially for smaller creators trying to keep ticket prices accessible. Customization options for event pages are also limited beyond basic text and a banner image.

Pros:

I liked that it was straight forward, user friendly and that someone like myself with not a lot of tech knowledge could use effectively.

Cons:

I did NOT like the fees that were charged for my ticket sales. It was one of my first promotions and was not very big, so the fees really cut into my profit.
