About Constellation TMS

Constellation TMS is a cloud-based solution that enables businesses to automate transportation processes including shipping, carrier and freight management. Administrators can utilize the platform to track shipping activities across various levels through scheduled reports, real-time updates and more.

Constellation TMS allows businesses to manage quotes by gaining visibility into contracted rates and market prices on a centralized dashboard. Managers can send dispatch details to carriers using e-tendering capabilities, improving communication across processes. Additionally, users can receive shipment status updates through integration with carrier platforms using electronic data interchange (EDI) or application programming interface (API).

Businesses can use Constellation TMS to generate bill of lading (BOL), pallet labels or commercial invoices and manage less-than-truckload shipping (LTL) and intermodal freight transport processes. Pricing is available on request and support is extended via phone, documentation and other online measures.

Pros:

The customer service reps care about our business and they are an extension of our team, the software is easy to use, it helps our company control costs, and the developers are flexible and can customize the software to meet our needs.

Cons:

We have used other TMS programs, and there isn't any need we have that Constellation doesn't currently handle. No software is perfect but this has met our needs in every way.

Pros:

The ability to view the progress of each load and provide my customers with information immediately. Not to mention the support from the TMS Team, it is very timely.

Cons:

My customers are impatient and sometimes information regarding delivery is not as quickly available as they would like
