About FNT Command Platform

The FNT Command Platform software solution enables efficient management of IT, Telecommunication and Data Center infrastructures as a digital twin – from the physical level (cables, switches, servers, etc.) through virtual components and applications to services – independent of the manufacturer and in a uniform data model. This enables organizations to plan and manage their IT landscape more easily, eliminate faults more quickly, implement transformations and changes more efficiently, and achieve sustainability goals for example faster.

Our solution offers the advantage that it can be used out-of-the-box in the shortest possible time, even in complex environments, to capture locations, buildings, cables, assets, virtual and logical links, software and services. The cloud-ready FNT Command Platform provides a starter-friendly and a flexible subscription model. The integrated component library which contains more than 75,000 elements supports the simple and fast documentation of all kinds of infrastructure components.

The fact that you can visually see the data center as is with all the devices and connections.

Cons:

That you cannot see the devices serial numbers when you look at the patchplan.

Sehr gutes IT Asset Management; wichtige Module, die einen im Daily Business sehr unterstützen; Weiterentwicklungspunkte innerhalb der Software sind sehr beeindruckend.

Cons:

UX/UI, wenig Freiheit als Kunde selbst Dinge auf der Oberfläche zu gestalten, mehr Interaktion auf der Oberfläche bieten

Command bietet viele Möglichkeiten zur Dokumentation.

Cons:

Viele, leicht zu integrierende Features werden leider nicht umgesetzt. Auch fehlt in den letzten Jahre die Weiterentwicklung in den basic Modulen, z.B. Peitschekabel, usw.Dokumentation in Command zu bringen funktioniert sehr gut, bestehendes zu ändern fordert oft Workarounds oder ist nicht möglich (Telco)
