About Brady Workstation

Brady Workstation is an integrated workplace management software designed to help businesses design and print safety signs and labels. The platform enables managers to import data from Microsoft Excel, create customizable templates and arrange labels according to numeric sequences.

Administrators can generate asset tags to label ports across patch panels, terminal blocks, cables, wires and other equipment. Brady Workstation allows teams to scan barcodes and add custom scripts across templates to replicate labels and automate printing operations. Additionally, operators can also build arc flash labels in accordance with the national fire protection association (NFPA) compliance protocols using predefined layouts.

Brady Workstation lets businesses import details of chemicals to create multilingual globally harmonized system (GHS) labels in various sizes on a unified interface. Pricing is available on request and support is extended via phone.

Complicated software backed by a fairly knowledgeable support team, gets the job done

It simplified our inventory tagging process and speeds up the supply chain operation between the demand for our product and the supply we have on hand.

Pros:

The real pro of this software is that it does in fact do what it says it will, it's just a pain to get to that point unfortunately. The other pro here is that their support team (both phone and email) are quite helpful and will try their hardest to find a solution for you.

Cons:

As I said before, the software just isn't that easy to use and if an IT professional was banging their head against a wall imagine how and end-user will begin to feel using it.

I was using Brady Inspectntrack at another university I worked for and was great and for a centralized life safety department. Does not work well as the employer I work for now has a decentralized structure. We count on other department to inspect their own equipment, but unable to give access to the website because they can see the rest of the buildings/areas that do not pertain to them. Giving them the authority to see the selected buildings they manage and to run reports on their own would be beneficial to our process.

Once all data is loaded. Inspections are easily done.

Cons:

There are limited authority levels for users logging into the website.
