1factory provides a flexible and comprehensive quality management solution suitable for manufacturing companies of all sizes. Available as both a cloud-based and on-premise platform, the platform includes tools for a wide range of quality control activities, such as developing quality control plans, conducting first article inspections (FAI), managing incoming, in-process and final inspections, monitoring factory performance, controlling variation through statistical process control (SPC), handling inspection data and addressing non-conformances and corrective actions (CAPA).

The first article inspection module streamlines workflows by automatically reading drawing features. Users can add balloons, specify tolerances, capture data zones and extract dimensional data from digital gages, coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), or upload files in formats such as .csv and .xlsx. Reports are generated in formats compliant with standards like AS9102, ensuring consistency and easy sharing. Pros:

We wanted to improve one of our highly important process which is the new tooling full dimensional measurement process from ballooning the dimensions to measured data automation. 1factory PDF auto-ballooning and auto-uploading of CMM data solved our needs. Our customers were very satisfied as we are providing faster and more accurate reports. Our in-process inspection became more productive and efficient after using the QC Plan, Inspection and Analytics features. We had productivity gain of about 20% after using 1factory on our production quality control, eliminating use of paper-based data recording and human error in recording and data entry. Since all data is digitised, we've speed up the traceability time of historical data during customers and third parties audit. The historical data provided us a quick visual view of our manufacturing performance thus providing confidence and assurance to our customers. Customer service was prompt, patience and supportive in responding to our enquiries.We also like the continuous improvement and adding of features such as PPAP, Gage GR&R.One great delighters was the Chinese language subtitles training videos and the user interface. It's so thoughtful and it helped our users to learn and embrace the software with ease.

Cons:

We were not familiar with some features and functions but the 1factory folks were always patience and supportive in helping us to learn and master them.

1Factory - a welcomed application

1Factory is a relatively new application, so there are various opportunities for improvement, but the support staff is unbelievably good - very quick to respond to issues/suggestions. Very helpful.

Well designed, easy to use, quick/easy access to raw data downloads in each of the modules.

Cons:

Not all data is available to download. Missing ability to Mass Update (for e.g., in instances of multiple variants of Supplier/Vendor Names). Very weak reporting options.

Price, intuitive design, accommodated all our business needs.

Pros:

If you work in Quality Control, this will be the most powerful tool you can use day-to-day. Within days our production floor experienced 40% less non-conformances . As a defense contractor, our customers appreciated the AS9102 format and our inspectors now spend more time actually inspecting now that reports are seamlessly generated.

Cons:

There is a slight learning curve for this software, but this can be easily overcome even for the most basic user. Just make sure you spend the time reading the tutorials/introduction training - you won't regret it!

1Factory has everything you need. Everything is connected. The best part about 1Factory is the customer service. [sensitive content hidden] is always available for any question and he will respond within the hour and sometimes sets up a zoom meeting to explain and help.

Cons:

Working with specific customers, we ran into an issue that our sampling plan is not available in 1factory. It's on the radar to be added in the future.

1factory is more user friendly. It checked all our boxes.

It didn't have all we need. It was just ballooning and upload to net inspect.

So far away and yet so close

I'm very happy for all the help and support that we receive from the 1factory team! If I have a question, I will have the response within max. 24 hours. The theam takes all improvement initiatives very serious, I we have already receiced a lot of changes/updates in our system.

Pros:

It is so easy to baloon the drawings, and to update excisting drawing in case of change. Very fast to create new controlplans and FMEAs and to update the FMEA due to customer complaints. Before making inspection, you check the calibration og your gage and it is linked to your measurements.

Cons:

I would like more options in the analysis tool. Fx. select how many NCR's we have had for each process pr. month.

I heard that SPC light is obsolete.

It was difficult to have changes in the QDA software and very expensive. 1factory is very intuitive to use and has a nice design. I havn't seen the baloondrawings and link to controlplan in QDA. QDA are so complicated.

Best Quality Management Software in the market

We started exploring 1 factory last year against 5 different competitor products of 1 factory, 1 factory stands out in all the aspects of our selection and one can straightaway jump into using this with very minimalistic training, the support / issue resolution is top notch with every issues resolved in less than a day or as per the commitment given by 1 factory team. As of now we have more than 1000 inspections going on with 1 factory flawlessly and this is saving us lot of time and money, I would definitely like to recommend 1 factory for any company planning to invest in Quality management solutions. Thanks to [sensitive content hidden] who helped us right from the demo till product launch.

Critical platform for mfg. business that has a dynamic product mix.

Overall great experience. Customer service is outstanding and they are always open to feedback on features and UX or creating a custom CMM import template. The workflow is also fast which makes creating new plans and updating plans very easy, removing common frustrations when creating quality documentation. Using a system that is cloud based and accessible anywhere has also elevated our user participation within our organization. Users like the workflow, ease of use and the data visibility.

Ease of use creating and revising inspection plans - the workflow is fast. Easily update a specification or an entire rev change in minutes. The automatic data analytics within the plans is also a huge time saver. Having the non-conforming (NCR) reporting within the QC system and linked to specific dimension(s) is also hugely beneficial within the QC system.

Cons:

Data backup doesn't save out ballooned drawings.

1Factory is a full featured cloud based quality system. Needed a total package and not more "ballooning" products.

The software has been instrumental in keeping us compliant with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949

The ease of use has allowed our company to quickly scale this sector and provide both Internal and External customers the ability to document from receiving inspection all the way though to production and customer satisfaction. This software is very useful for Quality Assurance implementation, maintenance and documentation.

The software is easy to use and learn. I have been in the Quality Assurance world for quite some time now and find that both new and seasoned persons would appreciate the simplistic, yet elegant, approach to quality. This software would not only help companies who have never had a CAPA/8D or quality assurance department, it also helps structure and document receiving inspection, supplier CAPA, Internal CAPA. The simplistic way that it produces reporting is a great and useful tool for anyone looking to gain or maintain compliance with regulatory bodies (ISO/AS/IATF) as well as keeping customer satisfaction high with quick reporting/number assisgnments to CAPA/8D reports.

Cons:

There are no short comings to this software. Anytime I hit any type of bottleneck, I have been able to reach out to 1Factory and an immediate solution is brought forth by the developers. Great response.

Welcome to the Next Level of Quality Control

Overall the experience we have had with 1Factory has been exceptional. There is obvious room for growth as there is with any software but the 1Factory team is constantly making improvements that will benefit all.

The software is easy to use and learn. Since the introduction of 1Factory my quality and production team have seen an improvement in the parts being made as well as the communication between our departments which has improved overall production. The real time run data that is produced by 1Factory helps my team notice trends much more quickly and save production time that would otherwise be spent manufacturing non-compliant parts.

Cons:

None. The support staff and the 1Factory team have been exceptional partners. Anytime we have found something that doesn't quite seem right or something we think could be done differently the 1Factory team has always accommodated our suggestions.

1factory has delivered everything we were looking for and more. We purchased this software as a replacement for our paper receiving inspection system and it's already paying us back.

Pros:

I love 1factory's super clean and user friendly interface. It's totally intuitive and uncluttered. It takes only a few hours to become an intermediate user. The software contains a ton of helpful features and automations. If you're stuck using an old clunky quality software, consider switching to 1factory.

Cons:

There isn't much to say here. At this point the feature set isn't fully developed but they frequently release new modules and features and these are always included for free with your original access.
