The best detection tool

PRTG Enterprise Monitor is a very complete tool that we have used in the company where I work. We have been using this tool for many years because it allows us to receive notifications when there are incidents with our Internet links or equipment disconnections both in our local network and in external networks, which is why it is very important for us to have this tool.

Pros:

What I like about this software is that I can keep an eye on various equipment and systems that are critical to the company since with this tool I can detect any problem at any time.

Cons:

Something that I don't like very much about this tool is that it has many options and there are some parts and settings that are not so intuitive to use, you need to take courses or read manuals to understand each function of the tool in detail.

Overall Paessler Enterprise Monitor is great IT infrastructure Monitoring tool with great features and core functionalities that IT operations would need to well monitor and make decisions about their infrastructure.

1. Reporting features that fully give an Insight of all IT infrastructure from small to large scale, offering IT Engineers and Operators all the information they need in one single place. 2. The ability to monitor IT applications, services, Capacity and Configuration management.

Cons:

The sensor layout and management isn't well automated for easier understanding and could be confusing if handed over without proper documentation

PRTG Enterprise seemed more scalable Network Monitoring Solution offering more centralized overview of multiple PRTG installations.

The user interface is instuitive. The reports are very friendly, easy to use. The native sensors are a good way to built the dashboards easily .

Maybe to be able to allow configure parameters to export.

Easy To Implement and to Use Monitoring!

PRTG helped me enhance my setup with a central overview across multiple server locations. I appreciate the level of multiple business services, coming together to provide me with all the access to my enterprise in one location, That was the moment I knew this was a great addition to my toolbox.

The flexible dashboard is the best feature I have seen in years. The ability to collect and correlate alarms and notifications is what I needed. I appreciate the ability to monitor my entire operation.

Cons:

I would like to see a better set up manual.

Thing that I liked most about is easy access to sensors. You can easy create new sensors and attach them to computers.

Cons:

There isn't that much options to create new views, and ones that exist seems confusing.

The flexibility of PRTG Enterprise Monitor for monitoring these devices, services and systems is quite good. It is compatible with both IT and industry standards, thus enabling me to oversee cloud services and medical devices alike without any hitches.

Cons:

PRTG sometimes has issues with high scalability, particularly in the analysis of numerous virtual networks at once. When these monitoring points are too many it translates to a compromised performance and increases the response time.

The product can be pricey. But other than that there isn't anything that I dislike
