It is software for taking notes on videos on youtube, Vimeo and many other platforms. It can be used as a Chrome Plugin or you can login into the application on the web.

It can be used for casual note-taking, doing specific research using videos, analysis of videos and giving time-stamped feedback on videos

Best video notetaking tool

For the price this is a great tool that fits right into my notes workflow.

Pros:

I love the simplicity of being able to take notes right there while watching a video. As a software developer I'm always watching online tutorials and taking online courses. ReClipped allows to me take notes easily and find them again just as easily.

Cons:

The one downside and I do mean one, is that when taking notes for an online course each video course notes get the title of the course and not the section. It makes it hard to find a specific section you may be looking for.

Reclipped: Where Timestamps Meet Consistent Note-Taking

ReClipped is an amazingly well-designed plugin that empowers me to quickly compose comments utilizing console easy routes as I observe recordings. Synchronization with Google Drive and thought is the characteristic that distinguishes it from other choices. The best addon for taking notes and collaborating. Amazing, without it, I wouldn't take media notes.

Pros:

I cherish being able to include timestamps to my notes so that I can recover the data I require right absent in the future. The snippets are basic to create and alter as well. The capacity to get to media generation through a console is what permitted me to record media. My notes are spared, and I can get to them from other gadgets. It's very supportive to be able to purport motion pictures from your computer and type in notes at the exact focuses of the film.

Cons:

The buttons that are included in all of the motion pictures you visit are the one thing I do not like. Also, the availability is troublesome for modern note-takers or casual clients. There's no way to customize the console's alternate routes. I would truly like to be able to utilize it more natively on numerous gadgets.

Take Notes While Watching And Saves Time

It assisted me in making notes for my YouTube and Udemy videos. Reclipped allows us to export notes in PDF format with ease. The feature that sets it apart from others is synchronization with Google Drive and notion.

It's fantastic because you can import, export, sync with Google Drive, and use other apps. I don't have to buy a second additional monitor just to observe and take notes, which is incredibly handy. By adding notes, tags, and comments to their clips, we can provide additional context or information.

Cons:

When saving or sharing truncated videos, the audio quality may occasionally suffer. Its PDF is not highly organized.

Make Use Of Your Time While Watching With Reclipped

In addition to increasing efficiency, while watching YouTube videos, it can be integrated with my YouTube profile. We can quickly refer to them later, and it is quite helpful for taking notes.

Pros:

The timestamp is viewable at all times and can be highlighted. While we watch, we can collaborate, take notes, and offer comments. It can be used on Vimeo, YouTube, and other websites. it can also be integrated with Google Drive.

Cons:

Its keyboard control still has room for improvement. Apart from that, it's a useful tool for creating notes on the videos. It provides practically all the features we require to maximize the time while watching.

Reclipped - a great tool for someone who wants to keep track of the videos he watches

I use Reclipped to build a "second brain", the goal is to remember every important bit of each video I watch. So Reclipped is perfect for this, as I can annotate videos and clip certain extracts.

It is super easy to capture video content with this tool. Plus it's great to be able to annotate the clips you're creating, super useful if you want to remember some extracts of videos (which is why I've been using this tool for the past 6 months). The most amazing thing from my point of view is the free student plan. It's always a pleasure to notice that companies are taking students into account.

Cons:

It would be awesome to be able to use it on the Youtube application as well. But I guess that it is almost impossible.

The Premium Video Notes Extension

ReClipped is a very well-thought-out extension that lets me add notes quickly with keyboard shortcuts while I watch a video. It has been reliable and the interface is comprehensive but not overwhelming.

ReClipped is reliable and makes video notetaking fast. I like that it doesn't take me out of watching to take notes and I can reference them easily later.

Cons:

I would love a mobile version of this, as I frequently watch YouTube on my phone.

I found Tuberslab to be buggy with its interface on YouTube

Pros:

It sounds so simple, but it makes life as a student so much easier. The sync with Readwise is invaluable, along with the ability to take and save screenshots alongside your notes.

Cons:

I have no complaints or criticisms. It's an elegant solution to an irritating problem.

My experience after usage

Note making has been easy been with reclipped. Initially ,I was unable to note down the values from the educational video but now I mark and highlight every necessary detail.

Pros:

Highlighting the time stamp and accessing it at anytime .Creating snippet is also an another feature that I have been using it very often. The feature that makes it different form other is synchronization with notion and google drive.

Cons:

Except for some minor issues ,like the device doesn't take input after making notes unless the right click is done .For example, while watching a video on youtube ,if i use reclipped then the keyboard input does not gets registered. As long as I am not using reclipped all the keyboard shortcuts work fine except But the moment I use it none of the keyboard shortcut works so for that I have to pause and resume the video again.

Youtube Videos And Markdown Formatting Feedback

Really good, I wouldn't take media notes without it.

Pros:

Accessing media reproduction via keyboard is the thing that made it possible for to me take note of media.

Cons:

I use it mainly in Youtube videos, inside the Youtube page other extensions like Grammarly don't work. The ReClipped main page fortunately does but I would like to have it integrated into the Youtube page.I would like real-time formatting of the notes, I write in markdown style so having rendered the titles in the actual format would be nice.
