About Wooclap

Wooclap is an polling software that helps businesses conduct assessments and receive real-time audience responses to engage students. It is compatible with any teaching model, including traditional, synchronous, asynchronous, distance, hybrid, HyFlex, and more.

Wooclap integrates with PowerPoint, Google Slides, Microsoft Teams, and other tools teachers use every day so that they can use Wooclap within the existing virtual learning environment.

It allows teachers to measure student understanding continuously and provide feedback on the learning. By answering a live poll, completing a self-paced survey, or asking questions on the message wall, students can express themselves in various ways. With its real-time and self-paced features, Wooclap facilitates communication between teachers and students to improve the learning process.

Super audience response system

Our company now uses Wooclap for training sessions and workshops. It works very well: participation has increased significantly, employees love it, and they retain the presentation content much better.

Pros:

Wooclap is very easy to use and much more comprehensive than Kahoot. The interface supports a wide range of use cases and is very well designed. Working in a large insurance group, I needed a reliable solution, and Wooclap suited my needs better than competing tools such as Kahoot, Poll Everywhere, or Klaxoon.

Cons:

I was initially looking for a free tool, but none were on the same level as Wooclap. In addition, I needed access to all features and had strict security requirements, so I had to choose the paid version.

An interactive course experience

My students liked it very much; it made the course highly interactive, and they really enjoyed it.

Pros:

The interactive and feedback questions are very useful. I had so many fun moments with my students when I used Wooclap

Cons:

What I don’t like about Wooclap is that it doesn’t have a mobile app, which would allow me to moderate events from my phone while presenting from my PC. I also suggest adding more types of questions, such as crosswords and word searches, to make the experience even more engaging.

I like that there is instant feedback for students which can be displayed on screen or sent individually to students. I like that I can create the assessments and it is digitally saved to use again. I like the competition mode.

Cons:

Sometimes it is difficult to get a troubleshooting question responded to in a timely way. I've had to wait 1-2 days for a response.

Fun and interactive

Fun and interactive. A good way to see what everyone wants to answer to a question but way quicker and more visually pleasant.

I really enjoyed the engagement and participation we were able to have from students and professors in a university class. The quiz option makes it easy to check the class understanding of the subject.

needing to have good wifi (which can be hard when in a big class with more than a hundred students all trying to reach the site)

Integration into Powerpoint through addin, ease of building question banks.

Cons:

Answers to wooclap questions do not show up well into Powerpoints for printing PDFs and distributing slides after the fact -but work perfect in real time.

Make online trainings exciting

I liked the simplicity of the user interface for both users and admin

Cons:

There is no choice how much time to add to the poll, you just click add more time. But it would be helpful to select +15/30/60/120 seconds.

The Best Formative Assessment Tool

WooClap is fantastic. In the short time that we've deployed it, it's already become one of the most used sites in the classroom.

Pros:

WooClap has the highest number of questioning styles of any formative assessment tool in the education market.

Cons:

Since we're a high school, WooClap gives it away for free to any k-12 teacher but in the signup process many of my teachers miss that.
