Reliable, All-in-One Endpoint Management That Simplifies IT Operations

5

My overall experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central has been positive. It’s a comprehensive and reliable endpoint management platform that brings key IT tasks together in one place, which makes managing devices much more efficient. The automation of patching and software deployment has noticeably reduced manual workload, and the remote support tools have helped resolve issues quickly without needing physical access. Reporting and inventory visibility are useful for tracking compliance and asset status. While setup and initial configuration require planning, the ongoing management experience feels streamlined and dependable for our business/company.

Pros:
What I like most about ManageEngine Endpoint Central is its all-in-one centralized management. Having patching, software deployment, remote control, and asset management in a single console significantly reduces tool sprawl and saves time. The automation, especially for OS and third-party patching, stands out because it minimizes manual effort while improving security compliance. It’s practical, efficient, and built with day-to-day IT operations in mind. We also receive great support from the Manage Engine team when we require assistance with something or request a certain feature. It certainly delivers value for money.
Cons:
On MDM, the remote control feature for mobile devices is not stable needs alot of improvement. We end up having to use another prdocut such as Teamviewer host. 2. Having to manually add devices to the Bitlocker management policy everytime a new laptop is setup is also tedious. There shpuld be a way to automatically have this happen.

Great value for money. Support is sometimes slow. But after a while you get the hang of dealing with issues yourself or grow accustomed that the support response can be slow. But like the patching process is EndpointCentral is also not immediate but takes it's time to deploy, it's the same manner with everything else. Once you embrace the slower working style, everything is looking great.

Pros:
It's not the best product, it has it's quirks, but it has the best value for money. Customer support is good, although sometimes slow to resolve an issue. Their portal is intuitive and easy to use. Endpoint management and device management are good modules, but for me the deployment module is what this is all about. Patching third party softwares and deploying critical patches as well as driver and bios updates.
Cons:
Device wipe is underwhelming. I generally don't like this option at all, the only thing you can do is accidentally made a mess. DLP is also very basic and trivial. Personally browser and application management modules I could also live without.

Reasons for choosing ManageEngine Endpoint Central

Best value for money. Lots of other modules that we didn't necessarily need, but since we have them included we also use them.

ME has been great, and the support is very helpful. We once were rolling out a fleet of new machines to replace old ones, support was happy to help extend licenses for shortterm without entering or changing the contract.

Pros:
Manage Engine makes managing, support and patching clients very easy, and the new application control is very good for blocking apps you need to keep users away from. The selfservice is also great for saving time and money in support environments.
Cons:
Mac support is only OK; it doesn't offer any kind of remote console as it does for Windows, but I feel this is more a limitation on Apple than it is on ME.

Reasons for choosing ManageEngine Endpoint Central

Best support matching our requirements and outstanding remote access. Also, it offers a self-service portal for users making common software simple and cutting down on service requests.

Comprehensive On-Prem Endpoint Management with Strong Security and Operational Value

4

Overall, our experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central has been very positive. It is a robust, stable, and well-integrated platform that effectively covers endpoint management, configuration management, software deployment, and MDM from a single console. It has improved operational efficiency, strengthened endpoint security, and provides strong value, particularly for organisations that prefer an on-premises, centrally managed solution.

Pros:
What I liked most about ManageEngine Endpoint Central is that it offers an on-premises deployment with one unified platform covering endpoint management, configuration management, software deployment, and MDM. Administration is straightforward and efficient, and the clear, well-structured documentation makes onboarding, operation, and troubleshooting easy for IT and security teams.
Cons:
What I liked least was the requirement for manual profile installation on macOS devices, which requires direct IT team involvement. In addition, macOS administration has more limitations compared to other operating systems, which reduces automation and flexibility in managing Apple endpoints at scale.

Reasons for choosing ManageEngine Endpoint Central

We chose ManageEngine Endpoint Central because it offers a single, unified on-premises platform.

Strong Patch Management and Endpoint Control Platform

I am using Manage Engine endpoint central UEM and Security edition product since last 4-5 years and my overall experience with it is very good. In terms of centralised management, we do not require manual configurations with each endpoint, and we can do all the tasked from centralised console/server. Its gives immersive experience while working.

Pros:
ManageEngine Endpoint Central is the best tool which provided seamless centralised management for Endpoints. It provides industries best solution related to compliance. Patch Management, Vulnerability Management, Software distribution part are the best part of this product and they are doing great job.
Cons:
Reporting issue comes sometimes, like after patch update, we can see the patch is updated at the endpoint side but on the manage engine portal side machine is still showing pending and syncing time taking too much. Like manage engine says 90 min refresh cycle it will sync but sometimes it takes more that its committed timeline. It should be improved. Deployment to the client of any software and patches also takes some time too much time.

Reasons for switching to ManageEngine Endpoint Central

Product features are not user friendly. UI was not good. Reporting feature is not good as compared to Manage Engine Endpoint Central.

Endpoint management, patch management, ease of use and the customer support. We also use it to MDM on our tablets that we use in the business for our sales reps as well as our scanners that we use in the warehouses.
Cons:
The UI contains many modules and settings, which can make navigation confusing for new administrators. Patch deployment generally works well, but occasionally requires manual intervention when dealing with complex environments, third-party applications, or machines that are intermittently online.

Reasons for choosing ManageEngine Endpoint Central
