The complete solution UEM

The use of the cloud version so far has been very good.Implementation is relatively simple, as is starting up the system; in just a few minutes you'll begin to see equipment reporting, allowing you to take action based on the information being presented.

Pros:
In a unified console, you practically have all the main asset management tools (desktop), all gathered in a simple and functional way. You have everything from remote access, software management, inventory, hardware, patch deployment, navigation control. In short, there are many things.
Cons:
If we consider only financial aspects, there are cheaper solutions, but they don't perform as well as Managengine. Therefore, for the Brazilian market, I believe the price is a bit high.

ManageEngine - Endpoint Central review

4

In my experience, ManageEngine Endpoint Central has made it much easier to keep our entire device environment under control. Whether I’m managing desktops, laptops, servers, or mobile devices across Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, or Android, having everything centralized in one place has been a game‑changer. The automated patching, streamlined software deployment, detailed asset tracking, built‑in remote support, and strong security controls have significantly reduced the amount of manual work and helped me maintain a consistent, secure environment.

Pros:
its broad feature set for endpoint control, patch automation, configuration, and remote troubleshooting. Also the following key features - Automated Patch Management, Security & Threat Protection and Unified Endpoint Management (UEM)
Cons:
Complex Licensing Structure Several features are licensed separately, leading to confusion and potential cost concerns—especially for large organizations.

Reasons for choosing ManageEngine Endpoint Central

I chose ManageEngine because its overall offering stands out compared to other vendors I evaluated. In my experience, it’s a well‑rounded platform that covers the majority of our operational needs without requiring multiple separate tools. That balance of functionality, reliability, and completeness made it the right fit for our environment.

Not a fit for small to mid tier businesses.

4

It was a good experience, though the UI was a little outdated when compared to others. We did like all of the options they had and that if covered everything we would need. This issue was that though it did everything, it wasn't the best at it all. Just good.

Pros:
We left Manage Engine due to pricing. We found an alternative that did the same, for free at the tier we needed.
Cons:
Pricing structure. If you are a smaller business, or one like us who is "lean" and does not have as many employees it doesn't make financial sense to pay this much for the capabilities they offer.

Reasons for choosing ManageEngine Endpoint Central

NinjaOne is just a hodge podge of other products. They offer remote control, but they outsource this to Teamviewer and just integrate with their platform. They offer Antivirus, but it is outsourced to your choice (BitDefender, etc). That is not neccessarily bad, but I personally like everything under one umbrella.

Reasons for switching to ManageEngine Endpoint Central

Cost and support. Teamviewer is a great product, but their support is extremely slow to respond and very unprofessional in their assistance.

Complete Package, pricey but worth it.

5

I have been using some form of Endpoint Central for years. Very Positive with the Cloud version, a little less so with on-prem management but still very good. A near one stop solution for remote management needs. Pricey but worth it in my 100+ endpoint situation and worked great in an enterprise level at a previous employer. I tried other platforms that are cheaper but they just don't compare to the feature set EndPoint Central offers. OS deployment is tricky but very good MDM can be difficult to configure if you are using AMB or googles equivalent. Once you do it is near perfect. Patch management and software deployment mostly just works but you do need to be patient. Self-Service portal also works rather well and rather easy to setup. Remote Desktop can be an issue on Mozilla engines but is pretty flawless on chromium. Management also includes inventory scanning that will give you device info and will attempt to check the warranty on devices. Works near flawlessly with dell and works good for Lenovo. Apple Mac is also supported but security updates to the MacOS will often break it and there is usually a short lag time before the endpoint software updates. I have not tried the linux management yet. Overall, if you have 100+ endpoints and can afford the premium price it is ME-Endpoint Central is great. If you cannot quite afford it they have smaller packages can be cheaper and fill some of your needs.

Pros:
Remote Desktop Remote Command Line Warranty Checks Patch Scanning Easy Software deployment Add-ons like MDM, Browser Security, OS Deployment and more to fully streamline your devices. They also offer a 30 day trial at the time of this writing
Cons:
Pricing maybe hard to justify for smaller organizations. On-Prem configuration can be difficult to manage.

Reasons for switching to ManageEngine Endpoint Central

PDQ is great however it does not have all the features Manage Engine has.

I'm very satisfied the customer support, the engineer very helpful and experience. On the other hand, the device management or endpoint management and patch deployment is very easy to use. The report section is my most favorite function. It is very good user experience.
Cons:
The price is a bit expensive and the software management not easy to use. The software deployment and application control function is not easy to understand and use.

Reasons for choosing ManageEngine Endpoint Central

Pros:
It easily integrates with my other ManageEngine offerings. Gave me the flexibility to run an on-prem or a cloud version which was helpful in making my decision to test their software.
Cons:
What makes it useful can also make it confusing. With multiple versions, on-prem vs cloud based, finding documentation and how to guides can be confusing and frustrating at times.

Reasons for choosing ManageEngine Endpoint Central

The pricing of Endpoint Central was better than PDQ. Our Agency also uses other ManageEngine products so we are familiar with the company and know it will also integrate with at least one of our current ME softwares.
