    Pros:
The most usable password management system I've used, best API too very intuitive.
    Cons:
Sometimes doesn't feel as robust as other solutions, you can really tell the quality between a robust product and something any less. Sometimes errors are returned needing a refresh.

    Reasons for choosing Vault

Decision was down to API - easily usable and works seamlessly. The documentation is accurate and very consumable.

A Good tool to secure the sensitive data

    5

Since applications have credentials, certificates etc that are spread across the organizations and since these are in plain text which makes an application vulnerable to attacks. For this purpose, HashiCorp Vault is used in order to secure the credentials and other sensitive data. It can be used to authenticate a user either via passwords or some dynamic configuration that would generate the tokens which are temporary and these tokens can be used to access the resource.
