Make report fast

We used to wait forever for reports to run. Kyvos gets what I need right away, which speeds everything up.

Kyvos review

Very positive. I like the team and support Kyvos provides as a vendor. I think that the strongest part of it. I feel being heard and always can rely on vendor services. Also I like the user friendly approach where end users feel some freedom with their actions and can explore the data they way they want without dependency on dev team.

Pros:

UI is very friendly and very intuitive. Colors and design are attractive and in most cases impressive in a good way. As a PO i like the monitoring features where I can check user activity along with details like which attributes are being used/which are not. It creates a transparent view and gives an opportunity to improve resource consumption, build approach etc

Cons:

Isolation between the cubes. I think this is the most painful part for me as of now. I d like to build a holistic view between datasets so that users can do investigations intuitively.

Reasons for switching to Kyvos Semantic Layer

to be honest we are still using all Qlik and SAP products, but just utilizing it in a different way: Qlik is good with drill downs and regulatory reports, while SAP is good with printing forms design. Kyvos is dedicated for investigations as of now. Once it proves to be a reliable tool, we may consider onboarding more data.

Great tool for huge data OLAP solution

Love the tool, which resolve some pain points from another tool. Need to simply the configuration and setting.

Not friendly for first user Not easy to understand how the cube build

Microstrategy does not have enough space to store the data. Also in Microstrategy was no way to track the attribute usage.

Work fast on huge data

Before Kyvos, I was often stuck waiting for slow queries and managing data from different sources. Now, I can quickly find trends and patterns. It also helps my team to collaborate better since we all see the same, reliable data.

Kyvos makes it easy to work with years of data. The simple interface lets our team explore data on their own and getting started was smooth with great support along the way.

Cons:

Kyvos works great, but writing MDX queries takes some know-how, so we need someone skilled in it, which slows us down a bit.

•Kyvos has completely changed how we handle reporting. It makes it super easy to explore past and current data at once. •The setup was quick and easy with the help of their support team. •Kyvos pulls all our data together and allows us to explore it directly from our existing data sources. •We’ve been able to meet our risk targets more effectively, getting daily updates on various asset types.

Cons:

Once up and running, it’s much easier to maintain, but any updates or changes still require a bit of effort and technical management. While Kyvos offers a lot of benefits, the setup and learning curve could use some improvement.
