You can easily set up the Audit Universe to reflect your company’s structure of locations and processes. The hierarchy is unlimited in nature, so you can add as many locations, auditable functions, departments and clients as needed. This makes the system easy to navigate for all users, wherever they are. It also makes it easier to connect data across the system. How will Ideagen Internal Audit save me time? • Re-usable content: The library of Objectives, Risks, Controls and Tests (ORCT) stores centralised content that can be applied and re-used as part of audit workflows. Risk and control matrices are easy to re-use, edit, or create as new using customisable fields. No special training is needed. • Prompts and alerts: Automated prompts and alerts keep all projects running on time. Will Ideagen Internal Audit support my methodology and workflows? A stand-out feature of Ideagen Internal Audit is its step-by-step trackers for audit methodology and audit execution. The trackers will support any framework, from the latest IIA standards to ‘agile’ sprints based on your own criteria. This ensures everyone in the team works to the same processes and standards. Each stage of the workflow is prompted automatically. Will it integrate with other software I use? Yes. An Application Programming Interface (API) allows the system to integrate with other software your business uses. Is there an annual limit on audits? A clean and well organized Internal Audit solution, with strong developer support

Pentana AuditMK eliminated the excessive use of spreadsheets for organizing, and the need for constant follow-up with auditees. Timeliness has improved, and it is easier for our Departments to respond.

Pros:

Audits scopes, plans and work-papers are intuitively designed. Supporting documents and field work are simple to attach where necessary. After comparing three options, the scalability and price-point were the final elements that sold it for us!

Cons:

The only issues we faced were report generation. The auto reports may need adjusting to your requirements, and some programming knowledge is necessary. They do provide this service, but having your own IT is better. Overall, a minor issue.

Pros:

Ideagen is a fully functional, one-stop solution designed to ensure audits can be completed smoothly, all stages of the process managed to the methodology employed by the audit team and allows easy tracking of any observations and recommendations made. It is fully configurable to meet individual needs and the support teams are best in class and highly responsive.

Cons:

As with any system there are drawbacks - Pentana doesn't always allow easy deletion or modification of parts of the audit universe should they become irrelevant in your organisation however the system has workarounds in place to mitigate this.

Pentana is good for audit teams that do not require constant work in the system

In overall, Pentana audit system works as expected. It could be easier and in a better layout (bigger buttons, less clicks, less information in the same page, and more intuitive).

Pros:

The most positive side was the price point compared with the similar products. The implementation of the system went without further issues. The customer service is also good and fast!

Cons:

The system is built in a way that do not allow customization to reduce the bureaucracy and number of clicks. Thus, if you have a team that are more horizontal and lean, the same person needs to click several time to be able to move forward in the tool. The reporting process is not so good since it requires coding instead of a drag and drop of fields. There are limitations on extracting an integrated report from the Pentana Audit system modules. The schedule is not nice to see and the report is quite limited.

Pros:

It is a good tool to help me create and manage my audits. We have been able to create the audit docuemnt expectations from planning to closure. It is a great facility to add team members providing access to the audit to the entire team to contribute to various phases of the audit lifecycle. It is nice to be able to collaborate on documents and working papers in parallel and keep an eye on audit progress. Finally, it is quite easy to submit the audit file for review.

Cons:

Addressing review points on the documents could be better embedded in to the documents itself rather than separately on the interface.

It keeps everything organised and provides time stamps. It helps give us assurance we have everything we need for each audit and brings standardisation to our processes.

Cons:

There are some end user aspects that could use improvement. It’s hard to tell if we are using all the functionalities and there isn’t an easy way to get in touch with someone for assistance.

From the technical side, Pentana was easy to setup. The support team was very helpful in assisting with the installation and provided useful guidance and tips.From the Audit perspective, Pentana provided the team with an organzied way of managing all audit findings. This enabled the creation and tracking of various workstreams to address these matters in a timely way.

Cons:

There's nothing I dislike about Pentana. This software is great. Looking forward to more updates.

Cons:
