Near-Life brings our training to real-life

The Near-Life platform has been a real game-changer for our training - from being able to take remote team-mates on a virtual tour of the office to being able to share our compliance-based training, Near-Life has allowed us to turn something quite flat into something that is engaging for all at all levels.

Great experience of using Near Life

Using Near-life has been great so far, the service has been amazing, with the team being super responsive and supporting on adhoc queries, and share video guides to help with the more complex interactions. The platform is incredibly easy to use - creating simple interactive videos is straightforward with the built-in functionality. It also has the flexibility to create more complex interactions when needed, helping deliver a product that meets the customer's expectations.

Pros:

Easy to use and intuitive. Team was responsive and supportive. Share link overrides itself, so you don't have to continuously share links with people.

Cons:

The button sizes were quite restrictive and spacing was auto generated, which left uneven gaps. There was a work around for this though, but it involved more design work.

Really easy to create impactful market-leading learning

Interactive branching video is the future of digital learning and Near-Life CREATOR has helped me to pioneer market-leading learning at various organisations. I would highly recommend it to any learning teams and digital learning creators who are keen to make sure their content is engaging and makes a difference.

Pros:

Near-Life Creator is really straightforward to use. Learners love video and this tool helps you create interactive videos really easily that helps the learner to practise their skills and see the consequences of their decision-making. It makes creating truly impactful learning simple. I like how you can use filmed video or animation, and how you can use hot-spotting as well as decision making. The support team at Near-Life are really helpful too and I feel valued as a customer.

Cons:

It would be good if there were more options for the style/design of the answer buttons.

Design without the drama

Take advantage of the 90 min onboarding session to see how quickly interactive content can be developed and packaged. There's no limit to the amount of interactive projects ; pricing is based on storage, editor licences and monthly learner interactions on Near-Life's platform.

How easy it is to simply create great looking content using Near-Life's coding

Cons:

There haven't been any concerns that I've found with Near-Life's software, platform or support.

Reasons for switching to Near-Life CREATOR

It wasn't necessary to switch - per se - Near-Life project mapping for gamification simply beats any other tool I also subscribe to.
