A Powerful Lens for Your Spreadsheets

My overall experience with Visor was transformative for team collaboration, seamlessly syncing with our spreadsheets to provide brilliant visual project views like Kanban and Gantt charts. However, this power came with a significant caveat: performance noticeably lagged with our larger, complex sheets, and we had to constantly maintain our source spreadsheet to avoid sync issues. It’s an exceptional tool that bridges spreadsheets and modern project management, but it works best for teams with well-structured data and patience for occasional slowdowns.

Pros:

I love its seamless, real-time sync with Excel and Google Sheets, allowing teams to use a modern, intuitive interface for project management while their existing spreadsheets remain the powerful data source. This best-of-both-worlds approach combines the familiarity and flexibility of spreadsheets with the visual clarity of multiple views like Kanban boards, calendars, and Gantt charts and essential collaboration tools, making it incredibly effective for hybrid and remote teams.

Cons:

I love most part of it but i wish that the mobile app function are same as the desktop version. I also wish that the performance speed is consistently fast.

Integrating real time data from tools like Jira and visualize it in a dynamic highly customized gantt charts also fostering real-time collaboration and a intuitive modern User interface

Cons:

At first, the learning curve can get really confusing before getting use to the tool, it requires time to master it well.

Smart Spreadsheet for Project Management!

It really helps me to organize projects and then tracking the progress by syncing with Jira. Our teams can work together in real time. We use Gantt charts for future planning, and managing tasks effortlessly. Visor is simple and cloud-based but also lacks advanced formulas and off-line access. I found it excellent for project management and teamwork. However, it is not a full replacement for Excel while doing complex calculations.

its user friendly interface, 2-way synchronization with Jira, custom views and filters, Gantt charts are its best features which I like the most.

Cons:

It is actually not a full spreadsheet replacement, with high pricing plan and customization constraints are main constraints

O que gosto no Visor é a forma simples e rápida de criar as várias etapas de um projeto. E de como é fácil gerir essas etapas. Também gosto das várias vistas que é possível ter para trabalhar. É possível personalizar todas as vitas, campos e filtros. E ainda criar campos novos, personalizar cores e muito mais.

Cons:

Talvez pudessem criar uma forma de diminuir o tamanho de cada campo dentro do card, de forma a ocupar menos espaço. Talvez um ícone em vez do campo inteiro. Mas é a única coisa que encontrei menos boa.

O Trello oferece pouca personalização na sua versão gratuita. E é bastante caro se queremos usar mais funcionalidades

Powerful yet elegant and simple solution to visualize pertinent data

My overall experience has been very positive. There is little to no experience required to configure your environment, an easy interface for anyone to use, and proper epic-> story level mapping for JIRA issues which is surprisingly difficult to find.

Pros:

Visor is an incredibly powerful yet simple tool to visualize high level information and most important, to interpret JIRA data. Visor accomplishes this through a simple UI that works very well with JIRA, without creating additional burden. Additionally, their pricing is perfect for teams with large audiences, but limited creators so all my audiences can see content without paying extra.

Cons:

The only con, which is not a true "con" is, Visor has a relatively limited range of integrations. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but a tool with such simplicity and power would hugely benefit from being able to integrate with even more services in the future, and I am sure this is on the roadmap.

I have been so insanely impressed by this tool - while I think it's relatively new, it's being developed really quickly and the CS team is incredibly helpful in working through any bugs I've encountered and being communicative throughout that development (s/o Rae). They take into account feature requests and incentivize bug reports. I've tried just about every roadmapping platform you can think of and this is the first one that allows me to roadmap at both the epic and story/issue level, displaying at those discrete levels for different audiences, as well as swimlane out in whatever custom structure I want. It's so much more flexible than any other JIRA-integrated roadmapping software I've used and I'm looking forward to seeing what future functionality they grow, because it has so much potential to continue developing helpful features. Also - they have a public facing roadmap and allow so much communication with their team that you really feel like you're a part of their future growth. At the price point, I think it's the absolute best roadmapping/planning tool on the market.

Cons:

It still seems young - has a lot of room to grow as far as additional features and functionality, but a product team that seems super open to those changes and suggestions
