Cons:
Invoice structure, really complicated to read it. Overloaded with the multiple lines of all kind of fees and charges.

Tucker Freight Lines - Best Pass

6.We implemented BestPass in 2021 for cost savings and being able to have transponder flexibility. Again, customer service has been good so far in the partnership.

We really like BestPass’ chat support feature on their website and overall customer service. It has helped us resolve issues quickly.
Cons:
Sometimes it the responders are not recognized in certain states causing delays. We report the issue and usually receive a response or solution within a day or so.

Reasons for switching to Bestpass

Wanted a more modern and better solution for managing our toll passes.

consolidates billing into one monthly statement; easy to use; customer service is responsive and friendly
Cons:
slight delays in toll posting on a monthly basis compared to say Penske for example. I have been billed by Penske and cannot reconcile with Bestpass for at least 2 weeks.

When I got [sensitive content hidden] on the phone she was awesome. Knew her job 100%. Figured out my issue and walked me through the fix.
Cons:
Talked to customer service and the 2 I talked to knew absolutely nothing on how to resolve my issue.

Bestpass was the right move!

It's been a few months, but things are progressing nicely. We are working to understand the site, reporting, and where we need to improve as a team. It's been a very positive experience.

They were willing to provide a customer success manager that acts as a real partner in the relationship. They provide guidance, support, and education.
Cons:
Nobody enjoys a new hardware rollout. We all agreed the product was superior to the current technology and partnership. We decided to rip off the band aid. The rollout went smooth when compared to previous roll outs. Returning our old hardware was the nightmare and justified the reason we converted to Bestpass.

Reasons for switching to Bestpass

They were not interested in listening to our needs. They refused to provide a customer success manager and hold regular cadence meetings. The were not acting as true partner and alerting us to anything we needed to focus on. No dashboard either. They were only interested in offering us a discount to appease.

Anytime I have a question or I need assistance they are willing to help. Their Customer Success Managers are knowledgeable and friendly. I love how I can look up information on the portal.

Their Customer Service is great! They offer a lot of toll coverage and they also offer Canadian toll transponders as well. Their website is user friendly. Just positive things all the way around!
Cons:
Honestly, there really isn't anything I do not like about BestPass. I have always had a great experience with them.

Bestpass is doing almost great job!

I would say it is positive and I love it overall for it's nice designed dashboard and customer service. However, I would really want the bestbass to figure out the battery issue and it's "b" number.

I loved a lot in best pass including: Customer service , user friendly dashboard. If I have any issue or concern the customer service is always quick and very patient. They are very kind people !
Cons:
The battery dies very often and I have to replace them time to time and other times the device is just breaks down.Also, the sticker which shows "b" number always gets faded which makes extremely difficult to recognize the device when you have fleet of trucks.

Reasons for choosing Bestpass

The dashboard was better to use and it offered both prepass and bestpass in one devices.

Regarding your battery, the average life span is between 2-5 years depending on usage and general weather in the area of usage. In such cases, when the battery runs out, the transponder may be returned to Bestpass and it will be replaced. As our company needs have exploded exponentially, Best Pass has grown and developed at the same break-neck speed offering solutions and technology far ahead of their competitors. We value our customer support most of all. Whether our issues are large or small, there is always a network of resources and support. I personally appreciate having direct support contact- real people ready to take your calls to resolve issues and answer questions. They are always knowledgeable, patient and use terminology anyone can understand.

Best Pass' wide range of coverage options are unbeatable, and customer support won our loyalty years ago.
Cons:
That's a tough question; nothing really comes to mind. Coverage is great, customer support, continuous improvements and latest innovations in our industry; Best Pass is always at the forefront!

More coverage options but ultimately it was better Customer Support without a doubt.
