deFacto Planning is a corporate planning solution that offers budgeting, forecasting, reporting, consolidation, analysis and predictive analytics. It allows users to view the overall financial health of their company, in real time, based on past, present and future perspectives across all functional areas including finance, tax, sales, supply chain, operations and others.

deFacto Planning can be deployed on-premise, in the cloud or in a hybrid environment. Also, businesses have the ability to switch from one to another based on their current IT strategy.

Built on Microsoft technology, deFacto Planning utilizes Excel, Office 365 and SQL Server with Analysis Services. Excel is the main user interface, but web and mobile interfaces are also included with the product.

It is suitable for clients ranging from midsize to enterprise-level across all industries. Support is offered via phone, email and an AI personal assistant.

Functionality

Pros:

We use the deFacto planning alongside the ERP system. The system is useful to create reports. The system is flexible and has the excel built in features that works. The system integrates with the ERP system well.

Cons:

The system is not that easy to use until you have used for sometime and grown your competence. It is not easy to train out and we have had to manually create training guides for personnel.
