I like the colour coding

It is a great system especially if you only have a few files you are working on.

It is clear to see all of the tasks and as they are colour coded, you can see whats outstanding easily.

Cons:

There are a lot of bugs that pop up continuously (possibly due to the rate and depth we use the system).

Product review - Oliver Crawley (Business Support Analyst OCS)

My overall experience of this product is hugely positive. EBC are a big business that retains the personal touch. The product is always innovative, moving forward, offering more functionality as it continues to grow. Functionality offered seems to be well ahead of the curve in most instances (reporting & importing being the exceptions). I am made to feel valued by everyone associated with the company. [sensitive content hidden] are truly lovely people who always deliver on their promises and are at all times communicative and approachable. The company is corporate but not detached form its end users.

Pros:

Employment Check Pro automates and digitises the end-to-end vetting and pass management processes. Introducing a level of control and governance around standards and practices for Aviation vetting (used only for Aviation vetting within OCS). It represents a single solution across Aviation UK and Ireland for processing and storing candidate and employee vetting data. Prior to the PassTrack Pilot, Aviation Vetting was processed by OCS employees in Manchester and locally situated within the LGW, Central Way and LHR Airports. The processes adopted were not consistent, some are using manual paper methods and local file storage. The digitalisation of the process is impressive with documents held safely and securely, able to be moved from application stage through to vetting stage. The ability to track and renew DBS/G-sat, via a very simple process is a key win for us. Auto chase is also an impressive feature. The introduction of industry standard software has made our internal process much stronger, very reliable, robust and bespoke for Aviation Vetting clearance/CAA regulations only.

Cons:

The reporting capability is weak and it seems that (understandably) funds have been utilised elsewhere, resulting in the reporting feature standing still as opposed to moving forward. Intuitive, intelligent reporting that is easily configurable/able to be manipulated to suit the requirement would be welcome. The employment check app looks to have real merit however one criticism I would have is that sometimes things get released without appearing to be fully ready to go (in the case of the app the notification feature does not work for Android users despite literature actively promoting it). At other times things are released and cause another aspect of functionality to 'roll back' or misfunction. This is always quickly corrected however. The data import feature should (in my opinion only) be offered up as a matter of course, as part of a clients ordinary course of business. This feature can trigger cost implications when wishing to use and takes multiple attempts to successfully import.
