ePS MarketDirect StoreFront is a web to print and fulfillment solution designed for print service providers, In-plant print centers, and franchise print operators who need a comprehensive solution to manage and automate online ordering. With MarketDirect StoreFront, service providers can quickly and easily create branded StoreFront catalogs beginning with a library of customizable templates. Virtually any product can be listed in a catalog, with support for print on demand, adhoc uploads, SmartCanvas design online, kitted, VDP and Direct Mail, and even 3D packaging products.

MarketDirect StoreFront includes fulfillment tools to manage inventory, complete with pick order, returns, and restocking and drop shipping support. MarketDirect StoreFront offers available customer marketing tools, enabling service providers to promote web to print items to their clients, as well as recover abandoned shopping carts. MarketDirect StoreFront includes comprehensive integration options for payment gateways, tax calculation, shipping services, SSO Authentication as well as XML connectors for automated order management.

Bare bones way to sell your products

Pros:

We use this software to allow internal clients the ability to order their own marketing materials once we have them finalized. It saves us a ton of time since we no longer have to respond and coordinate each order.

Cons:

The web design feels like it hasn't been updated since the early 2000s. For new users, it can be confusing on how to access specific files and whether an account is necessary or not. Generally not a great uer experience, but it gets the job done.

MDSF is Easy to Use! Improvements can be made but an overall nice product!

My experience has been positive. While there are many improvements I think could be made, it's functional for my company and easy to know your way around it!

I like MDSF because it's easy to use. I believe anyone can easily work within it to create basic offerings for their company!

Cons:

There are a lot of missing features that in today's day, I believe should be a part of the software. It is very hard to collect information from a client ordering products. The only way to do so is through accounting codes. This should be a priority to implement.

Great easy to customise product

We have really enjoyed the ability to offer our customers a platform that allows them to feel like its their own system when ordering product from us. We have even been complimented on this system.

Pros:

What I like most is the visual processing data module where I'm able to customize products, such as postcards, business cards, etc. The platform also goes as far as allowing file attachment capabilities to support visual building tools.

Cons:

Least likeable feature is software updates may not complete successfully leading to functionality issues. Also, implementation of the software itself can be troublesome for new users as they do not have the knowledge to make it happen.

Best Web to Print Option Available

Our experience with EFIMarket Direct has been exceptional. Tech support team has always been very engaged on finding solutions to problems to every day problems. They have developed two custom reports which have been very helpful. And they are always on call when we upgrade (we're self hosted). It's one of the big reasons I recommend this software.

Pros:

The thing I like most about the software is that it is built for selling custom printed products. Any other run of the mill e-commerce option will not have any level of option needed for printers. (From simple things such as impressions, and page counts, to complicated things such as variable data and mailing lists) Also, other e-commerce print solutions do not allow you to customize products like MarketDirect StoreFront. We have previewed other options in the past and StoreFront is always the clear winner. From being able to have multiple cost sheets, easily building products and specs, options for layouts, and gathering data from queries and reports. Nothing else comes close.

Cons:

I wish we had easier options to change colors and headers/footers of the site layouts. Our University has a specific color pallet required for departmental sites; I have to do a lot of custom work just to change banner colors. Also, some layouts look a little outdated. For a site to be trusted by the user; it should have a more modern esthetic. Last but not least, I wish the product views would show bleed - and if the document doesn't fit the page selected it would be great if it showed an error and ask the user to pick a larger page size.

Reasons for choosing MarketDirect StoreFront

We implemented Storefront more than 10 years ago, many other products have come across our desks; Avanti comes up most often. But nothing has been able to match the features offered - let alone offer more features than we currently have.

Pros:

One of the best features of DSF is the way it scales for small and large customers. The system is easy to manage and handles print and kitting better than other storefront software. The Job tickets and files set up allow for automation through any type of system.

Cons:

The inability to route a product to a specific plant or printer. The routing is currently user location based. Also, the inability to connect with other systems for two-way communication. Currently, we can only send information one way.

Great end product for customers but getting there is hard.

MarketDirect will help us streamline our repeat orders. It is perfect for us to build a storefront for customers who are looking for an easy button for repeat orders. With this implementation, it also frees up time for our sales team to continue growing our business.

Pros:

The final storefront for customers is very professional and easy for them to use. I also like that we can personalize the URL for each store making it fit the brand of the people we are building for. I have also appreciated the recent update to the internal Products page. Our trainer [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the product. He is the reason we can use the product.

Cons:

Setting up a storefront is incredibly difficult. I wish there were a training manual and videos that goes through everything you need to setup a full storefront. The help section is very in-depth, which is great, but it does not tell you what needs to happen in what order. I am also very disappointed that MarketDirect does not integrate easily with Monarch.
