Caretend Review - IT perspective

I set up user access and report any issues (errors) our users run into while doing their work. I’ve been using Caretend for 3 years now.

Pros:

I’m neutral, it’s the system we have in place. It does what we need for the clinical side of the pharmacy

Cons:

Is has lots of bugs/errors that happen. Working with support can be frustrating. There is no ACL provide for setting up security groups.

Worst system ever

Most miserable part of my job. So miserable that I've begun looking for another job. This is not user friendly, there's no training, you can't get help and it's functionality is nil.

Pros:

Not a thing. Not easy to use, no training guides available, things are confusing and not streamlines. I've used MANY programs in my years of nursing and this one is the WORST.

Cons:

Everything. It's confusing, hard to use, training is not available unless you pay 1800$ for it. How do you expect people to want to use this when you make it so difficult to use, let alone train for?

Pros:

Homecare Net can be an efficient and user friendly program much of the time.

Cons:

The software is extremely temperamental. There are a lot of glitches which seem to be solved only be exiting out, and losing all of the data entered, then beginning again.
