MatrixCare Home Care Solutions group has focused on the needs of Home Care agencies since 1999, supporting more than 1,500 offices across the nation.   

Formerly known as Soneto, this web-based solution is designed to streamline the operations of Private Duty, Medicare and Medicaid clients.

MatrixCare’s Home Care solution eliminates redundant data entry and streamlines recurring tasks such as scheduling, payroll and billing in the office. Integrated CRM and follow-up reminders assist in tracking conversions by referral sources and marketing campaigns.

MatrixCare captures visit information via smartphone or telephony, task tracking, visit notes, and assessments, reducing calls to the office. The system keeps staff connected with announcements, reminders, activity tracking, notifications, and warnings.

MatrixCare’s scalable solution offers flexible licensing options that scale down as an organization grows. Users can access live support by phone or through the online client portal.

There are too many ways of doing a specific task and can become a bit confusing, Especially when training a new employee.

Very user friendly, so many ways to do the same thing. Amazing customer training and support. Always there to help when needed.

The reporting is too detailed, for something small, you have to fill out fields to get the most simplest reports. No way to favorite any reports either. When discharging a client, you have to manually remove all visits after the discharge date.

Recommendations

Try it out, after a few days in training mode, you will get the way the software works.

MatrixCare is fairly simple to use and is very reliable. In 7 years, there has been one short time (about one hour) that it was accessible. All other times it went smoothly. We utilize telephony which integrates nicely, and receive timely notifications if the caregiver does not call in as scheduled. It's reasonably priced and the billing and payroll run smoothly, too. Customer service responds quickly, and Kelley and Collin, who assisted with the MatrixCare Mobile were a joy to work with.

Wish it were Mac based. We are Mac company and must run Parallels to access it.

Recommendations

Make sure they utilize both MatrixCare Mobile and the telephony tasks to see which they prefer. Both can be beneficial.

our company did not choose their full package for charting, I came form a complete EHR system where I worked before so not having the ability to chart fully on an EHC system is at our disadvantage

If i had to choose one reason why i'm such a big fan of this product, is it's simplicity. Many people underestimate how important that can be. You can have a great product in you hand, but if you need a textbook to figure out how to use it, then whats the point. It's been so easy training new employees to use the product because all the features makes sense and are intuitive.

I Wish the system reports gave you more options. Maybe a build your own report module, like, what you data would want on the first column "DOB"second column "SSN" and so on. More of an excel friendly, linear report that you can be used for Vlookups and mail merges.

Recommendations

I would recommend not only having you IT person sit in on the webinar but also have someone less familiar with computers sit in as well. You will get a great idea of how user friendly this software is.

I like the customer service that Soneto provides. Soneto responds in a timely manner with any of our questions and concerns. They are also very good at getting their customer's feedback and frequently have round table discussions on what improvement/changes will benefit their customers.

I enjoy that it's user friendly, easy to understand, (even for me, not much a computer nerd). In the past, I needed to work from home for a few months, for health concerns, when I needed help, I'd loose Soneto, every time I called, it was fixed with friendly service, walking me through the process, all the way! The problem with the service, was on my end and location.

My quirk with Soneto, is the monthy reoccurrence that takes place. I need to go in monthly, to clean out client by client, caregiver by caregiver, clear out their schedules from staff and client's that have been discharged or deceased. Every month when you think the schedule is clear, some old name of staff or client reappears. We have tried to remedy the situation, I still clear out every month, even after four and a half years.

Recommendations

I would strongly recommend speaking with an employee or Tech with Soneto. They have been extremely helpful with me. My boss, the owner of the Home care agency, actually trains new franchise owners on Soneto, so I have a great teacher right at hand! Many of the new franchise owners, call my boss with
many questions, when he's been out of the office, I have given them Soneto's contact numbers, to suggest they speak with one of their own Tech's. I have honestly passed on the great friendly service that I've experienced with their staff.

The software is easy to use. User friendly and intuitive. The customer service is outstanding. I have only positive things to say about my experience with dealing with Stratis the company who puts out the product which I use (Soneto).

Like any product it is never going to be a perfect fit with every single need that you have. If you understand that and are patient the product will work for you. The vendor is receptive to finding solutions to issues through possible customization.

Recommendations

Know your needs in order to evaluate the product. I knew exactly what I was looking for in a software program so when it came time to evaluate different products I could make an informed decision and really determine that Soneto met my software needs.
Also during transition period do as much prep work to build your database strong. Have a solid foundation in order to keep adding information to the database.

This product is very user-friendly and allows you to go from tab to tab without having to close what you are working on. For example, if you are working in a client screen and a caregiver calls, you are able to look up that caregiver without having to exit the client's screen. Also, every time I have had a problem with this product, I have received excellent support. The support staff has worked on every issue until a resolution is reached.

I have never had a problem with this product or vendor, and there is nothing that I don't like about either.

Recommendations

I have used two other programs similar to this and have found that working in the medical field, there is always a situation where you will need to put what you are doing on hold and handle an emergency. The other products did not allow you to stop midstream and come back later, but this product allows you to do just that.

We have been using Soneto for almost four years now. At the beginning, I personally looked at many of the options out there that would cover scheduling, invoicing, and payroll. While many of the options are the same, Soneto was above the rest for its interface and usability.

I was also looking to make sure that any software we used would be able to handle our growth now and 10 years from now. In my opinion, whether one location or 10 locations, Soneto can handle the growth.

Our startup and education was consistent and helpful. The continued education has proven to be paramount to my staff staying on top of their game. All the staff is able to handle our needs immediately. I would not think of using any other system on the market.

All in all, Stratis and Soneto allow my company to focus on providing service to our clients. They make us look good.

The systems is very user friendly. Takes a little time to learn all the things it can do to make your job easier but very functional. It's nice that you can schedule client visits at any pattern that you choose. You can assign staff from their work screen or from the clients screen and it assigns to the other screen. No double check that it went to the employees schedule. I love that it tells you when you have gotten staff into overtime. It's easy to change schedules as you work on the assignments. Prints off very nice schedules for clients and staff. Also, it can keep lists of staff and clients address and phone numbers to keep handy.
