oy Securely Any/Everywhere: icCube is not a hosted service, deploy on any cloud or on-prem and any OS web server. You manage and own your data, not us (we NEVER see your/customer data), so GDPR and other data security measures are completely under your control wherever your application is sitting. 4) On-the-fly Security (no security definition duplication): Every SaaS application has their own security implementation (Keycloak, JWT token, AWS, Azure etc). icCube blends into the in-place security system and does NOT duplicate the user management. On first use, we had the POC ready in less than 2 days, and the MVP ready in less than two weeks, loved it.

Cons:

- Just like any other systems, upgrades could be made easier. That being said, the "server side" of IcCube upgrades were frictionless.

Reasons for choosing icCube

Cheaper, Faster, Easier to use compared to others. Also the IcCube support was beyond impressive.

Reasons for switching to icCube

CustomJS is just too expensive to maintain over time.

The software proves to be reliable, stable and flexible enough to meet our demands. We could easy connect our data from our software application into IcCube, making it smootly for our users.

Cons:

For the setup, designing and/or adapting our dashboards we did need the help of an expert (Inside Vision). They prove to have the skills to adapt our demands.

Using icCube to launch our data analytics product and transform an Excel driven business to a mature SaaS Product.

We have been using icCube more than 3 years now, and we are very content with its performance and stability (no outages, processes can run uninterrupted for months on end). We like the fact that we can influence the roadmap and the Dev Team is approachable for suggestions for contact ans support as well. We see icCube (the software) as a very mature product and icCube (the team) as a professional hands-on team you can ask for help.

We really like the way you can contact icCube customer support. They gave sound advice in setting-up icCube in a scalable fashion. Starting from building the conceptual model on top of our customer data to setting up flexible and meaningful dashboards to a scalable production set-up. We needed to have icCube work with Azure AD B2C, and they developed specifically for us a security plugin so icCube now runs behind authorization & authentication in Azure AD B2C. Furthermore, we could tune all looks-and-feel to ours and our customers are always talking about our dashboards, not about the ones of icCube. Although we license icCube, it feels like our analytics & dashboard technology.

Cons:

icCube is great in displaying data in visualizations and dashboards. Sometimes we would like to display data in plain tabular reports. It is possible to create this in icCube, but the flexibility of formatting is not so good.

Reasons for choosing icCube

Licensing model fit better to us. Me personal knew the strengths of icCube from previous jobs and projects.

Reasons for switching to icCube

Not sustainable for our business. Before icCube just a one man band. With icCube growing to the team of professionals we now have, supporting many more customers and set-up to support 10x more.

Everything is there to start producing reports with nice rendering, already providing a lot of visualization choices. icCube also allow you to develop your own custom widgets and themes (TypeScript/JavaScript) so that everything is possible! The support team is always reachable, willing to help and efficient. icCube is constantly solving problems for us. Either by helping/showing us how to do something or by developping specific solutions they then share with every customer.

Cons:

From cube design to nice final reports through security and performance, there's a lot of things to handle, but it's the case with any such complete and performant solution.

Almost everything you want to show on the dashboard is possible and if it is not, icCube will help you create custom widgets.

Cons:

In the beginning it can be difficult to understand so it takes a bit more work to understand everything.

Fast (in memory) Beautiful visualizations, but also (cross)tabular data view Can connect to multiple data sources (we used Oracle and spreadsheets) Exceptionally good value for money Security and (role based) user responsibilities can be implemented

Cons:

MDX knowledge is required for more advanced results, but can be learned Designing the dashboards/visualizations could be more user friendly (and has been greatly improved in the latest icCube version that we still need to upgrade to)
