Flowforma ease of use

Overall our company is very satisfied with the quick development of the new flows. The end users are finding processing the forms are much easier to use than their last tool. And any changes that need to be made even as the form has been deployed can still be change very quickly with almost no downtime.

Pros:

My company was looking for a tool to build many SharePoint workflows in a very limited amount of time to replace legacy forms on a legacy system being decommissioned. I reviewed native SP solutions as well as a few other third party tools but ultimately went with Flowforma because I quickly learned in the first 30 day free trial that I could build application very quickly. Which I do have a programming background, it wasn't necessary as it really is no code but haven't a good sense of logic helps.

Cons:

It took me a bit to get away from the idea of not being able to write if/then/else type code statements as I did with native Sharepoint and Infopath but I quickly got over that. I liked that you could move steps and questions around and could reuse questions in other steps but I would have liked to be able to move or copy rules to other sections when they realized they would perform best at other parts of the flow.

Process Automation in Further Education

FlowForma has enabled an organisation previously highly dependant on manual paper based process to embrace digital change. We have so far implemented 7 key electronic business processes, saving the organisation over 5000 admin hours annually. Data is accurately captured and with the help of a BI tool, always available to management in real time.

Pros:

Multiple question types and business rules make forms flexible enough to meet ever changing business requirements. The Support team are very responsive and knowledgable of both the product and understanding requirements. The product has really engaged process owners and after a few high profile wins, managers are starting to approach the team with ideas for processes they'd like to improve with FlowForma.

Cons:

There are some limiting features around integration if the knowledge/resource doesn't exist within the organisation.

Flowforma reduces non value added activities

We had too many paper based processes. Flowforma reduced a lot of them, saving us time and improving accuracy of data.
